We went on the Christmas cruise with our 19 year old son from Durban to Mozambique Island and back including an additional stop at Portuguese Island. Overall we all had a great time. The food and service was excellent. The highlight of the trip was the stop at Mozambique Island which has such a fantastic history! Dinners in the dining room were also great with a great variety of dishes. ...

We flew to Durban a day before the departure so that we have ample time in the morning and also to avoid flight delays. The cruise staff at the port were very friendly and helpful. There are clear marks and demarcations at the port making it east to check in until one is done with the immigration clearance. The ship embarkation was delayed but it was very smooth as i couldn't feel because i was ...

Something I had wanted to do and experience for many years - so a dream come true It gave time to relax and unwind and eat too much. The activities offered are exceptional especially for families travelling with kids. For those couples looking for a little more exclusive quiet time perhaps not the right choice. But as we chose a suite with balcony we were able to escape the noise and crowds ...

The embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly which is very impressive. Our bags were delivered to our cabin at a very reasonable timing. The cabins were tidy with comfortable bed and pillows and always cleaned up each time we left our room. In the evening the children's bed were prepared, ready for them to tuck in from their busy and exciting activities. We travelled with our 3 children ...

The Cruise was my wife's wish for her 60th birthday and we really had a wonderful relaxed time on board MSC Sinfonia. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening theatre productions and different pub/lounge activities. The cabin was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Although the miniscule shower took some getting used to, all amenities were catered for. We soon discovered that eating in the ...

We chose this cruise to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Great experience as it was our first time on a South African cruise. It was value for money except for the shore excursion. In future we will recommend people don't do excursions as especially the turtle beach one, as it must be the season for them. We also missed lunch on the beach cause of delays to getting to our excursion, which was ...

Mozambique was always on my bucket list of places to visit. I have never considered going on a cruise because of the poor publicity I read of waiting in long queues in Durban heat. I always imagined I would go in a 4 x4. So when i was offered a cruise at what I thought was a great price I figured I'd give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised at the speed at which the queues dissipated. We ...

From a smooth embarkation all the way through to a quick and successful disembarkation, I had a blast on the MSC Sinfonia! You are greeted by smiles all round which somehow don't fade throughout the cruise. The staff are approachable, incredibly hard-working, willing to answer any questions and assist you wherever they can. It was also heart-warming to see how well they interacted with the young ...
