Probably our last Azamara cruise

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Azamara Journey

We have just returned from what I expect will be our last Azamara cruise. Our ten day Ireland intensive cruise on Azamara Journey left from Dublin, circled Ireland and ended in Southampton. The itinerary was excellent, the weather (apart from some rain in Belfast) was unseasonably good. The embarkation area in Dublin was a tiny marquee. Had it been raining we would have got wet while standing ...

I chose this cruise for the British Isles itineraries- we started in Dublin and the cruise line arranged a hotel room - WE WERE CHARGED DOUBLE FOR THE ROOM AND THEY WOULD NOT CORRECT THE ERROR - do not have them book a room. We were NOT picked up at the airport, altho pre- arranged. All tours are expensive ( this is not new) however all shuttles and transfer services were EXTRA ! Unless you ...

Crown Princess out of Dublin

We had cruised with Princess before and enjoyed our previous cruises very much. Both cruises were on newer ships within the last two years. This was our 25th cruise so we are not new to cruising. We booked this cruise primarily for the interesting itinerary. Upon reviewing the ship before booking we observed it to be an older ship. We then researched to see when it was last refurbished. ...

Be careful about what you let them book on your behalf.

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

I chose this cruise because of its itinerary. This was my first time on Regent. I usually do Princess. If you want to try Regent, start with another ship. The Navigator is old, small, has very little entertainment during the night or day and the decor is average at best. One of my biggest problem with this cruise line is their costs to book your hotel and airport transfers. They pay for your ...

Older ship but still lovely except for the really bad food.

This was a 13 day cruise of the UK. We planned it for a long time and worked with a travel agent. The ship is older but had recently had some renovations done to it. Our cabin was lovely and was always clean thanks to excellent stateroom staff. Although the TV often did not work. We were given a $50 credit for this. We were told by other passengers that the food in the expensive specialty ...

First off, all the people that work there try real hard. the Captain and his crew tried very hard to make the cruise comfortable despite tropical storm Alieen with 85 miles winds. However this is not a luxary cruise. Princess is must better and it is not in the class of Oceanic. This is about getting room service 1/2 hour late. taking over 30 minutes to get a workable hairdryer, losing dining ...

Regent Has Fallen Pretty Far

We just returned from the June 26, 2016, Journey To The Arctic cruise on Voyager. This was my first cruise with RSSC since 2009, and my husband's first time. Overall, we had a great cruise because of the fabulous itinerary. Greenland was amazing, and we are so glad we got to see it. However, for a cruise that cost us $34,000, we had too many issues and these need to be addressed by Regent - by the ...

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Azamara Quest

Since my husband and never done "small ship luxury cruising" before we were both looking forward to experiencing this ship. I was disappointed from the time I stepped into the main lobby and saw only a small staircase going up to the next deck. The lobby was small and there was no glass elevator or soaring atrium. Our verandah cabin was a decent size, but the bathroom was extremely small. The ...
