We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and it did not disappoint. Quite the selection of interesting ports and activities. I've been fortunate enough to have been on over 10 cruises and the cafe on this ship is the best by far......both in terms of variety and quality. We found the entertainment in the other hand to be somewhat limited. The staff was AMAZINGLY friendly and helpful throughout the duration of the cruise. We ate in Murano (very nice) and Tuscan Grille...nice enough. We had access to Luminae which, while the food was of high quality the choices were more limited than I recall on other ships and I think they were short on staff, service was consistently slower than in other restaurants. We had 1 meal in BLU, which was much busier then we ever saw Luminae. The BIG disappointment (really the only disappointment) was Qsine. The format has been changed...now Le Petite Chef. Previously it was a truly unique "foodie" experience . Now its a bit gimmicky and ....juvenile. The service remains excellent and the food good but if you liked the "old Qsine" you will be very disappointed. All in all it was a great ship and cruise. I'd like to cruise on this ship on a warm weather destination to be able to take full advantage of all the unique outside venues. And I'd even do this exact itinerary again......which I've never said before. Read Less

We have always wanted to see the Norwegian Fjords and they exceeded our expectations- absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! The weather was magnificent everyday, couldn’t have asked for more beautiful conditions! 4 of us traveling together, me and my partner, my mom and her best friend. We flew to Dublin 3 days early to enjoy the city. We had been before and loved it. It never disappoints. Embarkation and Disembarkation: There were some concerns before the trip as earlier cruises had some issues with Dublin port since they are new to having a ship begin and end there but by time we took our cruise, everything seemed to be ironed out and both were very easy and quick. Ship: We loved the ship. We have been on Reflection before so we were familiar with the majority of the ship. Sure hope Celebrity does away with the cheesy glass blowing thing and replace it with a lawn grill. Ship was very clean and always a lot of officers walking around inspecting things. Cabin: we were in an S2 Sky Suite...aft /wake view/ on deck 12. Loved the room, very spacious, lots of storage. Hated deck 12. Too much noise from the Oceanview Cafe above. Deck chairs dragging off and on all day long. My mom was also on deck 12 but over on starboard side and she heard rolling carts from the Oceanview Cafe all hours of the day and night. We will never book deck 12 again. Dining: ugh...so disappointing. We were excited about eating in Luminae but we didnt care for a lot of the menu options and the things we chose were just blah. Nothing was bad, just boring. Got steak one night and it had a strange texture. Sweet potatoes, squash and asparagus was in everything every night it seemed. We ordered from the main dining room menu a couple times in Luminae as we didnt care for our options in Luminae. We ate at Tuscan Grill one night....the Minestrone soup was good but my lasagne was terrible. It was just basically hamburger between a couple slices of lasagne noodles. Not several layers. Missing ricotta cheese, barely any tomato sauce, spices...clearly no Italian was in the kitchen. No wonder the restaurant was only half full....just dont think it was worth $180 for the 4 of us...We did Qsine..and most of it was good, but for being Tapas style...still think portions are too large to really enjoy very many courses... Our only really good meal was Sushi on 5 for lunch our last full day on the ship. It was excellent. Tasted very authentic and what you would expect. Entertainment: Can’t comment too much here, we dont really do the shows, few interest us. Don’t do trivia etc....There seemed to be a lot going on every day based on the daily newsletter thing that showed all the things to do. Service: Excellent. Everyone was fantastic from our butler and suite attendant. To our waiter at Luminae, concierge in MIchaels Club.... We felt like everyone was very genuine in trying to please us. In fact, our butler was better than most of the butlers we have had on Silversea. Only negative was that it took forever to get our drinks at Martini Bar once ordered. Shore Excursions: we only did 2 shore excursions through Celebrity. Both were very good and well organized. This itinerary is FANTASTIC!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! Read Less

We are long time Silversea Cruisers. First time on Silver Muse. It clearly represents a new direction for Silversea. we are not sure who the cruise line is marketing too. Let me explain. Gone is the elegant dinning room, and in its place is a collection of dining options. While they represent a more modern approach to the dining experience, the new venues lack any sense of the wow factor. Comfortable, yes. Elegance, no. In fact, the entire ship denotes a sense of soft colors, fabrics, and light paneling exuding blandness. There was a lot of use of artificial material for surfaces. Now, don't get me wrong. This all tied together in a decorators well thought out scheme. Unfortunately it turned out very uninspiring. I have loved cruising-partly for the grandeur which this ship lacks. I am talking today grandeur, hip grandeur, modern grandeur, all missing. The staff were as fantastic as ever. Best in industry in my opinion. The food was OK. Meat products we fine. The fish was consistently over cooked and dry. I think fish products were not left to get to room temperature before cooking thus drying out. in the cooking process. Fish was not taken off the grill and left to finish on the plate. We were surprised at this problem since on virtually all of our past Silversea cruises, fish was fantastic. And yes, we did frequently and politely share our concern with ship staff. Now, Silversea is planning two more sister ships to Muse. I hope there is still time to add elegance back in the mix. By the way, did I mention the seven day menu has to go. Silversea has lost its way with this ship and marketing staff better make sure that young hip as well as seasoned cruisers feel they are getting ship value for their money. Will we sail with Silversea again? You bet. There still no better cruise line out there. These comments hopefully will be helpful to the cruise line. Read Less
