We chooe this cruise as our friends we going on it and it ticked a few of our bucket list locations, MSC Europa is HUGE, no walking deck, to get to some of the shows you have to walk through the Casino and it always smelt of cigarette smoke and really not very nice at all. Chosen this cruise line because of the itinerary offered and being an Italian passport holder I did believe to be proud of the italian hospitality offered and convinced friends to join on the Costa Mediterranea. A total catastrophy to say the least!!! Never again will look or put a foot on a Costa vessel regardless on what they offer.

We enjoyed the places we visited on the cruise but not the ship - food was not great, very poor maintenance with rust everywhere, things broken and missing including furniture and chairs in lounges and public areas, and the office staff and management uncaring and not obliging. We chose this cruise because it included the Suez Canal we had 2 nights in Dubai before the cruise and we were stopping in what we thought were fairly interesting ports ?? They weren't interesting at all for me !

After travelling on QM2 on 3 different occasions, this was for us a total shock. In all of our cruises by now probably 100 + this had to have been the worst.
