Chose this cruise for the ports and weather. The ship and facilities were disappointing. Lack of stock in shops. Entertainment when at dinner and over by 10pm. Geared to asian clientele. Firstly I know this ship has just gone in for a six week refurbishment. That being said having cruised with Royal many times ( Diamond Plus) I found myself constantly defending their policy’s but I can’t defend the indefensible. When will they stop this nickel and dime policy, over priced tours ,menus unchanged in years,shows that boarder on children’s party level.

I've sailed on Vision about 7 or 8 times, and have enjoyed it. I choose this ship mainly for the itinerary, which I thoroughly enjoyed. My April 2017 cruise was my first on Vision since the remodeling, which hurt my experience. They took away public spaces and stuffed in more cabins, making the public spaces too crowded. We purchased a package from Imagine Cruising which involved a 3 night pre cruise stay in the Atlantis Palm Dubai. We were unlucky with the weather as for 2.5 days we had cloud wind and surprisingly for the desert, some rain. It was even too cold to use the waterpark which was attached to the Hotel.

Was not expecting much and I got what I expected.Ship is way past it's sell by date,needs a massive deep clean,everywhere I looked I could see flaws.The solarium was filthy,I wiped my hand across a ledge and it was filthy,the floor tiles were so grimy needed a good jet wash.Our cabin looked ok but when you started probing it wasn't great.
