Review for a Trans-Ocean Cruise on Ovation of the Seas

We chose this to be our introduction to cruising. Being disabled we booked an accessible suite and were not Dissapointed, the stateroom was superb with the balcony having a ramp to get in and out, a full wet room shower and everything was lower to suit wheelchair users. Access was great with the larger door having an auto opener fitted. The food was, without a doubt, a high point. The ...

We were traveling with our 21 yr old granddaughter so originally booked a grand suite but were offered an upgrade to a grand loft suite which was absolutely fabulous. Our Royal Genie was wonderful and made our trip extra special. All three of us were tremendously spoiled - we never had to wait in line, all of our restaurant reservations and shore excursions were made by the genie. We were met ...

I chose this cruise because it is a new ship that is quite contemporary and full of technology. Plus I always wanted to see Dubai, India and Singapore, so they were the highlight of the trip. I had an amazing experience on the cruise: The food, entertainment, technology, did I say entertainment!!!!..The performers are so talented and well organized...I had a blast. Customer service--TOP NOTCH. ...

We had 5 days in Dubai before we sailed and this is truly an amazing city. Loved the old city and marvelled at the buildings in the new part. One day was spent in Abu Dhabi and that too is another city I will never forget. The Grand Mosque should not be missed. 1 night spent at the Burj Al Arab where we were totally spoilt and I can now say "I have stayed there" when I see it on TV. The ...

About us: A couple with children (that were left at home with my parents) travelling on our first trip together post being married all those years ago, and celebrating my husbands 40th Birthday. Boarding: We didn't have any issues at all with boarding, and heard loads of horror stories about other peoples experiences. We arrived at the terminal early, as I had emailed RCI earlier as initially I ...

Before the cruise we stayed five nights in Dubai on our own, so we had all the sightseeing there done in advance. Taxi from hotel to cruise terminal around 12.00 and embarkation procedure finished before 13.00. Cabin 1104, deck 10 aft, was waiting for us and we found a very nice-looking cabin with a really deep balcony with sunbeds and chairs. Our luggage arrived at 15.00. Lots of place for ...

We cruised with my parents (mum celebrated her 70th birthday on board) and 17year old daughter. Our journey started with an overnight flight from Birmingham with Emirates, we were able to choose our seats a couple of weeks before hand on outward and inbound journeys and checked in online 24hrs prior to departure, all went smoothly. Immigration at Dubai was very long, then a transfer to Hyatt ...
