We chose the cruise as we were celebrating our birthday. The embarkation process went seamlessly; we were shepherded from airport to ship with no problems. There was some waiting for our rooms to become available once on the ship, however, we were roomed before the advertised at 2 pm. Suitcases also arrived in good time.

Like many other reviewers, we choose this cruise based on the itinerary. We were able to get a very good price on the cruise, which is good, because paying full price would not be worth it.

This cruise had a brilliant itinerery but was let down by both food and entertainment on the ship. The food was of not very good quality in either restaurant or in buffet. If you liked fish you would be ok as it was cooked in just about every way you could think of and ways you have'nt heard of. We would probably never travel with MSC again and neither would a lot of people we spoke to on the cruise.

We chose this cruise because it was good value for money. It was a very good deal and it included our flights with Emirates to Dubai return from New Zealand.
