Review for a Middle East Cruise on MSC Opera

I recently embarked on a voyage aboard the MSC Opera and feel compelled to share feedback regarding my experience. While certain aspects were positive, unfortunately, the overall experience was poor. Firstly, the buffet's food quality and variety left much to be desired. Frequently, the food felt cold and lacked quality which was disappointing. Despite encouragement to purchase a drinks ...

We love, dubai, and to cruise. Last year we were with MSC ( seascape) in the caribbean, and hade a wonderful vacation. I am sorry to share my experience with you, this was the 11th cruise we have been on, mainly in the Caribbean. The main criticism concerns the cleanliness and lack of it, the cabin was not cleaned properly when we arrived, there was food waste in the boys, a half-rotten ...

Out of 15 cruises on 5 different cruise lines this one has been the worse and the worst part is a European couple already had warned us on a NCL ship in the Caribbean to stay away from European cruise lines. From Norway them self! Once you take an American cruise you will find the quality of food terrible on the European lines. In Tosca Costana the only salt I tasted was the one I added myself. I ...

After reading all of the awful reviews I had started dreading this cruise. However, I ended up really enjoying it. Embarkation was really smooth and quick. We had a cabin with a living room and separate bedroom and a long balcony with a hot tub on it, which we have never had before and which were really nice. The only problem with the living room was the bed settee which seemed to be really ...

Five star ship with two star service

9 of us took this cruise from Dubai. The food was terrible with all the inclusive options by buffet. A number of bars were closed including the main pool bar meaning you had to walk down a level and half the length of the ship to get a drink. No waiters around the pools. Buffets completely overcrowded. Rooms were okay and the entertainment was good. It was a five star ship ran like a 2 star ...

We were on cruise with Friends (8 People), the seating was not as we expected. The costa application did not run for all. Telephone line was not operating. We had one blocked toilet, after steerage cleaning the toilet was dirty… Was changed first departure from Dubai, officially we shall sail at 23.59, but in application they changed timing to 22.59 so we will waiting on back deck to ...

This was our second cruise and we were apprehensive due to some of the previous reviews we had seen. Embarkation was very easy, plenty of staff directing us to where we needed to be and allowed us entry onto the ship earlier than our stated time which was helpful. Marketplace buffet was very chaotic and perhaps time slots may ease this but choice of food was very good. The allocated ...

Worst cruise experience

I have been cruising on multiple cruise lines for more than 30 years. This was my first MSC experience and it will be my last. I am a pretty understanding person and always give the benefit of the doubt. As a matter of fact even when I haven’t had a good trip I won’t complain. MSC changed that in me. The service on this ship was absolutely horrible. The staff was rude, unhelpful, uncaring and ...

Huge disappointment

We chose this cruise because it was to celebrate a special birthday and sailing around the Emirates seemed like a special trip. The Ship was too big - 5000 passengers and 1600 crew members. It was full of very rude passengers who treated other people like dirt. Staff said they felt they were treated like 'scum' by most of the passengers. The staff were amazing, especially in the restaurant, ...

Booked by family, they were 11 of us. Great experience for a first time. Staff are welcoming and are always willing to help, but some struggled with English. Stop in Khasaab from Dubai then Muscat, gives you a chance to see Oman, although its very empty and boring. I wish is the cruise stopped at 6am and leaves next day 6am because, a 6am to 6pm is not enough time to see a city. Prices need to be ...
