This was our first Silversea cruise and 19th cruise overall. We sailed on 10 different lines, including Crystal, Oceania, Azamara and more.
Overall, it was a great cruise, but I must say I expected more from a "6 star line with intuitive service". The service was good to very good overall, but we didn't feel that they "learn our preference and anticipate our needs".

Yikes, Silver Seas is a massive disappointment. I have sailed with Crystal, Oceania, Regent, and Seabourn and I was looking forward to Silver Seas but it was a big let down. There is nothing redeeming about the ship and I would strongly recommend any other line.

Firstly the ship was only two thirds full and we were on board for 28 days. If you paid half of what they asked it would be still expensive and not value.
The Seishin restaurant is supposed to be Japanese themed with a surcharge of US$40 per head. The Wagyu beef which is supposed to be marbled was not and the Miso soup was like beef broth. Any resemblance to Japanese was coincidental.

After all previous cruises we sailed, we select this one since it had an appropriate itinerary for us.
Our cabin was well kept throughout the cruise. Excursion Destination Staff did a good job. Reception desk staff were friendly and helpful. Medical clinic staff was professional and excellent.

Chose this cruise for the chef inspired dining and was very disappointed in what was served. Pepin's dishes were probably 3-4 entrees out of hundreds so I could only eat a couple of them compared to the other dining room options.
