I've cruised on numerous cruise lines and would likely never choose MSC again.
Crew is friendly and works so hard - I honestly felt bad for them! They are understaffed, their managers are rude to them (yelling, snapping -- in front of customers?! Appalling.)
Staff aren't given streamlined processes and it shows. (Mostly at the bars - unnecessarily crazy for servers and bartenders)

The Norwegian Jade is a nice sized ship with a good layout and a spacious theatre. The main dining rooms were well organized and quite spacious. The various specialty dining venues were even better and we enjoyed several good meals in Le Bistro, Cagney's, La Cucina and Moderna. We chose this cruise as my daughter is based in Dubai. Although we enjoyed the various stops I would not consider the itinerary worthwhile enough to fly all the way from Europe for. In fairness to MSC we found the ship itself to be much better than many of the reviews on here. We had an “aqua” cabin so ate in the “Blu” restaurant thank goodness. The food was good but had a lot better. The “Blu” was only open for breakfast and dinner.
