The cruise line P&O Cruises is a British cruise line, a constituent of the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company. P&O Cruises claim to be the oldest cruise line in the world. Its predecessor company operated pleasure trips since 1844, and the world's first dedicated cruise ship in 1881. It is the sister company of, and retains strong links with, P&O Cruises Australia. We chose this cruise because it was good value for money. It was a very good deal and it included our flights with Emirates to Dubai return from New Zealand. We arrived 2 days before departure to explore the city of Dubai. Embarkation was smooth. We were allocated a time to embark( 6 pm) which we did. The suitcases didn't arrived till midnight which was a pain. Our cabin was an inner cabin on ...

We chose the cruise for the itinerary, particularly the Suez transit, and the fact nearly all ports were firsts for us, as was MSC. The ship was very clean and extremely smooth, cabins adequate though shower curtain in bathroom was extremely annoying as it sticks to you due to the tiny area! Had two days to explore Dubai before boarding then overnight on board too so crammed in lots of sights, ...

MSC Lirica March 2019 from Dubai to Venice. This was one of our best trips, both the itinerary and especially the staff made this happen. Past similar cruises have felt dull on board, still fun but something missing. The Lirica felt more welcoming, the staff definitely made this happen and made a real point to sit down and get to know us, seating areas allowed you to interact with other guests, ...

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

We chose this cruise for the itinerary. My wife's sister lives and works in Dubai and the opportunity to see her and locations we had not been to before made this choice irresitable. We spent a few days in Dubai, we had been there before, but really enjoyed it as well as a day trip we took to Abu Dhabi. We chose an early boarding 1100 AM, which was a good idea. We were on board in no time and had ...

Review for a Africa Cruise on Seabourn Encore

Having cruised about 10 times with Princess and twice with Seabourn, there were a number of things that did not meet our expectations; mainly food preparation. Ingredients were excellent and in most cases dishes are excellent, until the sauce is served. Most sauces taste the same and have some strange taste; maybe there is Balsamic vinegar where none should be. Most sauces are the same dark color. ...

We picked this cruise for its amazing itinerary and indeed, it was very interesting. We loved the combination of ports and sea days to relax. Here are all the other positives: great entertainment, convenient ship layout, the condition of the ship and of course, the fact that we had JS helped. At the same time the layout of the storage space was somewhat inconvenient compared to regular balcony on ...

The itinerary is what I want and the price is right. We enjoyed the following ports : Petra, Muscat, Ashdod ( Dead Sea ), Haifa ( Bahai garden ) and the passing of Suez cannel. The food is above average. The service is excellent in the Windjammer. We tried out three rock climbing and the staff are very helpful to encourage us to reach the top. Bartender at the Diamond lounge and the deck 11 lounge ...

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Star

The Norwegian Star's itinerary was really good for this 20 day cruise. The ship was clean and always being worked on to keep it in tip top condition. We enjoyed the food in the main dining rooms. We tried the four Specialty dining rooms, Moderno was the first and the meat was just okay; La Cucina the food was mediocre, we would not go back, LeBistro was good the first time we went and just okay ...
