We traveled in pair (two person 30 year old). We don't use flight deal from costa (flight&hotel self-booking). Ship is clean and maintained but slide on roof does not work (excluded from use). Very very poor food, buffet closed after 5:30pm (when you back to the ship and you are hungry and few moment later...angry). We have just been on the Costa Serena from Dubai to Oman ect. We arrived at the port at 8/30 am to be told we cannot board the ship till 8/o'clock in the evening great after an over night flight. We took the Christmas cruise from Dubai on the Costa Serena in a premium balcony room on deck 8. The room was quiet and well positioned although seemed smaller than the 20sq.m that Costa claim.
