I went on the cruise with my family to celebrate the life of our beloved dog Roxy because she passed away from cancer. We went on the Fantasy Star wars cruise it was awesome they had fireworks for Pirates night and then a Starwars fireworks for Starwars night. The service in the dining area was excellent and the steward was one of the best we have ever had. The food was good but the menu you could ...
We had an amazing time the shows are amazing better than some broadway. The children had a great time. We had more trouble booking the cruise, getting our luggage and trying to sign up for the tea party. You really do not need to do the tea party a lot of money and you can meet the princesses and have pictures free you just n need to get that ticket. MY biggest complaint the youngest not quite ...
We sailed on the rerouted cruise on 11/4. The ship is BEAUTIFUL, a true work of art. All areas of the ship are immaculately clean. We never once smelled any sewage or saw anything out of place. Our waiters (Lucio and Paul) were fantastic, our kids really enjoyed them and their nightly magic tricks. Our stateroom attendant, Ronald, kept our stateroom spotless and his towel animals were great. We ...
This was our second Disney cruise (Wonder in 2015), and our 7th cruise overall (we previously sailed with Carnival).
Embarkation - We used the Disney bus transfer from MCO. It was easy and seamless. We were on the second bus of the morning from the airport. We received our boarding number at the terminal, and was disappointed that it was 15 instead of a lower number (smaller wait). We waited ...
My family (Myself, my husband, son-14 yrs, and daughter-12yrs ) had never been on a cruise. We chose Disney because my kids are allergic to nuts and fish/seafood/sesame and we knew from Disney World experience and talking with their allergist that Disney would be the best- AND IT WAS!!! Their safety with eating is the most important aspect of traveling for us.
With the allergies, traveling ...
We loved this cruise!
The kids club was the highlight. My son is still taking about the fun. There are so many activities from cooking class to live shows and sing and dance alongs. Disney really had this down to a science.
The staff was caring, the food was great and they were very thoughtful to seat us with other single parents so we can make friends.
The Cay Island was a big treat. My ...
Our family of 8 just returned from a 7-night voyage on the Disney Fantasy. Our group included 2 sets of grandparents, 1 set of parents and 2 little girls ages 7 and almost 5. It was a thrill for my DH and I to see our granddaughters enjoy the wonder of Disney. We are Elite on Princess, but this was our first Disney cruise. I will focus my thoughts on what the differences between the 2 lines were ...
First cruise (with husband & 8 year old son). The size of the ship was perfect. Big enough to explore but small enough to quickly get to anywhere we needed to go. Very quick tendering in Grand Cayman and embarkation and disembarkation were very efficient. I don't think that we would enjoy a larger ship but smaller ships geared for families seem to be a rarity these days,
The service on board ...
This was a 3 gen family cruise. Our third Disney cruise. Disney cruises are always perfect. They make sure you have a wonderful time. And we did. The Disney cruise app was a great benefit. We were able to see all activities, sorted by type, and we could what we wanted to note as favorites. This allowed the app to give a 15 min notice when a favorite came up. The app also let us all text ...
The ship is great (well maintained) and Disney does a phenomenal job with the merriment as you would expect. Meals were good and having a consistent wait staff was fine. The water slide is fun, only wish there were more pools for families with non-toddler or elementary school kids. There is enough to do though my teens were not thrilled by the 'club' and opted out. Having taken a Disney cruises ...
