We chose the fantasy because it had so much going on that interested our family. 7 days was perfect. There was a pirate night as well as Star Wars at sea day. Our 10 yr old granddaughter is in to Star Wars and the 5 year old very much a princess. The oldest had a make over at the bibidi bobidee boutique as a Star Wars character on Star Wars day and youngest as a princess another day.

This is a quick summary of our great Disney cruise. Getting to the ship in Galveston was easier than I remember from previous cruises. Could be that the smaller Disney Wonder was the only ship there. I dropped my group off at the dock and zipped over to EZ Cruise parking, caught their shuttle and was able to caught up with my bunch as they were going through security. Had one problem in that ...
We were a family group of 13 ranging in age from 3 to 75. Our cabins were roomy, the 2 bathroom spaces impeccably clean and the closet/storage space more than adequate. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The dining room rotation was great..especially Animators Palate. We had two incredible servers, Marko and I Made. The 5 children looked forward to seeing them each night. Not only were ...
This was my first Disney Cruise and in the beginning I expected it to be amazing. Again, Disney exceeds my expectations with amazing and friendly service, outstanding and unbelievable entertainment, and special Disney magic that you can’t find anywhere else. Let’s start off with the food. It was the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life! The room service was great, the buffet was a mile long and ...
I enjoyed the family atmosphere. I always felt safe onboard and on shore excursions. I love that more is included and there were fewer add-on charges. If it were the only cruise line I have experienced I may not noticed how much extra service is included. One example would be shore excursions. On other lines I’ve just been given the vague instruction to line up on the dock. On Disney they send you ...
I joined my Sister, Niece & husband, and my Sister’s three grandchildren on a family cruise. I doubted that the cruise could ever justify the higher price point than other cruises.
I was wrong. The look on a three year old’s face when she sees her favorite princess, or when Crush starts talking in Animator’s Palate- is priceless. There is no price one can put on Ariel stopping to chat with a ...
My husband and I went on this cruise for our anniversary. I think my title says it all. The food was fantastic, the rooms were soooo clean!!!!! The entire cruise ship is cleaner than anything that you could imagine. If you like steaks, they were our whole tables favorite. You go from dining room to dining room and your staff follow you from room to room. If I had anything the least bit ...
It's hard to travel with children who have severe allergies, especially food allergies. There are only so many allergy-free foods you can bring along, and most places won't let you prepare your own foods (even if you could be assured that the plates, pots, and pans don't harbor traces of dangerous ingredients). We had heard that Disney was good with allergies, and we found a travel expert who ...
After pondering for several years on whether to sail on Disney or another cheaper cruise line, my family of 3 (including 7 y/o boy) took the plunge and reserved a category 04e cabin (5532) which is a deluxe family stateroom with oversized verandah. Port Canaveral is very well run, with embarkation proceeding smoothly. You leave your bags with porters at the curb, go through security, then go ...
this Was our first ever cruise we chose the western Caribbean itinerary and wasn’t disappointed our room host was so thorough and very polite and friendly our restaurant servers were fantastic the ship was immaculate absolutely beautiful our room host and restaurant hosts went over and beyond for us nothing was ever a bother the food was superb at all restaurants we dined at and we never went ...
