We chose the Disney Fantasy due to the fun we had on the ship in 2018 and the fact that it was an 8 night cruise.
First I want to highlight the good.
1. Check in was easy and very efficient and orderly. We had rain in the area when we checked in and Disney really got people thru the lines at security very efficiently.

We went on this cruise because we haven't been to the southern Caribbean islands. Everything was wonderful on the cruise considering the ship was almost 20 years old. Word to the wise on the aft rooms they like to creak. This kept me up the last few nights of the cruise as the waters were not as calm. I'm going to be giving comparisons based on our other cruise experiences since that's what I would be looking for.

We took a Disney Cruise during Thanksgiving 2014. The cruise went to St. Marteen and San Juan. Overall, the cruise was ok. The food quality was not near as good as the last Disney Cruise we went on. I was blessed to go on a limited "test run" itinerary on the Disney Magic going to the Southern Caribbean. This was our 4th DCL cruise (19th cruises total) and probably our last DCL cruise for awhile. While we had a great time, we just find that the extra cost (even with Florida Resident Rates) is just not worth it when compared with other cruise lines.
