We were on the Magic with a total of ten family members...my husband became ill, near death, the second day. We went to the ship hospital and were cared for by Dr. Nick. He was so comforting and helpful. My husband and I were removed from the ship and taken by ambulance to a hospital in La Spezia. Dr Nick checked in with me daily and also checked on my family helping them deal with the trauma and keeping us all up to date on the hospital care ( I need to add, NO ONE spoke English in the town or hospital). Disney has Corey in Orlando, he helped me find someone who could help me navigate the hospital and care. Nicoletta was a dock worker who took great care of us both thanks to Disney. Corey checked in on me daily even after we left the hospital. I felt the support from Dr Nick, Corey, and Nicolette got us both thru a total nightmare. Disney really looked after my husband and me as well as the family left on the ship! GOOD JOB DISNEY! Read Less

This was our first Disney Cruise in Europe and 5th overall. Having traveled other cruise lines, I find Disney to be a step above the rest in quality of food, cleanliness, customer service and size of staterooms. We selected this itinerary mainly for the ports of call, and planned to spend as little time on the ship as possible when at port. Overall I noticed a net decline on the food and shows on the ship. If you have taken a Disney Cruise in the past, the menu is exactly the same - no change. The shows have minor revisions and are repeated on another night. The variety shows were different and entertaining. Our room while spacious vs. other cruise lines, but was very noisy during the late nights. Lodging a complaint only diminished the noise the first night. Adult sections of the ship are the best since most are with their young children and have ample selection of the best pool and bar areas. Definitely a cruise I would recommend if you are traveling with no children, and don't plan to spend too much time in the common areas. Read Less
