Disney Magic 7 Days from San Juan, Puerto Rico

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Disney Magic

We chose to travel with our grandchildren and their parents to celebrate both of the children's 3rd & 11th birthdays. We chose aft balconies on the port side. We usually were on the land side when we docked and saw the port. I suggest the starboard side (right) if you are doing the Southern Caribbean. The cakes we purchased for them were absolutely delicious. They did not have real candles but ...

Very Good But Thought It Would Be Stupendous

I expected my first Disney cruise to blow me away. The dinner service was so lacking that it colored my whole cruise. My paid for birthday cake for my special birthday which was not delivered on the correct evening was so disappointing. That colored my feelings for the cruise too. However, the evening shows were wonderful, the Concierges were wonderful and the Concierge Lounge was wonderful, ...

First Time Cruiser • Age 50s

First cruise (with husband & 8 year old son). The size of the ship was perfect. Big enough to explore but small enough to quickly get to anywhere we needed to go. Very quick tendering in Grand Cayman and embarkation and disembarkation were very efficient. I don't think that we would enjoy a larger ship but smaller ships geared for families seem to be a rarity these days, The service on board ...

We were on 2 back to back cruses, 4night, and 5 night, ending Feb 3-17. We were on bioard quickly which was nice, mom needs a handicapped room, 6654 so that one was big and the balcony was incredible. My one least favorite part was the public washrooms, they were extremely cold & uncomfortable, Like going to an outhouse, wasn't very pleasant. Also the buena vista theatre was frigid as well, ...

The cruise was a great experience overall. My husband and two daughters loved it. We went with the grandparents, uncles and cousins. The entertainment on board is the best. Don't miss any shows at the big theater. Our 5 year old loved the Oceanears Club, our almost 3 years old couldn't join the children areas unattended, just with us during the Open Houses... that was a little problem because ...

Great Family Vacation

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Magic

The ship was amazing and very clean. There was always a seat available when you went to the buffet or pool deck, even though the ship was totally full. There were tons of Disney characters around the ship, but even when you reserved tickets to go see them, they seemed very rushed and didn't give the kids more then a few seconds each. Our cabin and stateroom were amazing. We had a balcony room, ...

I have sailed on 4 cruise lines, but this was my first time with Disney. The food and room were definitely the best we have ever experienced. Our room (standard) was 3X the size of our family room on Norwegian last year. With two young kids, this alone would make me choose Disney even though I don't spend any time in the room/ The shows were FANTASTIC! WOW! I would have paid the price of the ...

Mostly Magical

We were excited when Disney decided to return to NYC. We had previously sailed on the Magic in 2012 to Canada from NYC. This was a very different cruise with 4 sea days, 1 day at Castaway Cay and 1 day at Port Canaveral (really at Walt Disney World). The Magic was refurbished shortly after our cruise in 2012. The ship was well maintained and filled with Disney details. If you are a Disney ...

I love the Disney Magic! This was my second Disney cruise and both have been on the Magic out of NYC. I was sailing with my parents and we did not have any kids with us. Overall, nothing beats the service on a Disney cruise and the food is great, but I was a little underwhelmed. If I go on another Disney cruise I will probably choose one that does not have so many days at sea since there were ...
