I am a Disney fanatic, so I had great expectations for this cruise with my family. Unfortunately my experience was poor, nothing magical about the Disney Cruise. First the good things: Shows were the best I've ever seeing on a ship before. Nothing compare to the quality of the shows, the stage, music and quality of performers from the Disney show.
The other very good thing from the cruise ...
Hi, I actually was very disappointed on my cruise trip. The ship was nothing I had imagine, it was a small and old cruise. I guess it's my fault for not doing the research but this is not what I had in mind. The service was great though, it was the only thing great of my trip: my hostess and our waiters. I was also very disappointed that everything I wanted to schedule for the trip was already ...
Cruised with Celebrity and Royal Caribbean before, and heard so many good things about Disney, that we we had high expectations. You don't have that wow feeling when you board or tour the ship. It is very congested on the pool deck. Took one look at the adult pool and it was jam packed, so we didn't use it. Traveled with a 4 year old; two 5 years, and a 7 year old, after one try at the youth pool, ...
To start, I have cruised DCL before and it was excellent. I have been to WDW yearly since I could afford it and I will continue to do so, I have never experienced any issues at WDW and the service and experience has always been faultless. It is with regret when I say the same cannot be afforded to DCL.
It is even more so, in the response to my complaints that I felt even more let down and ...
Disney does a lot of things right, which is why they cost a significant amount more than other cruise lines. This one however, was a bust. It was partially our fault for thinking that just because a room cost $4K it would be nice (inside state room). We are used to having a balcony or at the least, a port hole. DO NOT EVER get an inside room. It was not just us. There was a constant creaking in ...
We looked forward to our first Disney cruise for over two years. I've sailed on Carnival and Celebrity and always heard that Disney blew them both away. I was sadly disappointed, however. We got a great deal, so at least that helps soften the blow.
First thing I noticed was many of the crew on board was less than helpful. I had questions like, "what time does the pool open," or "where can I get a ...
Let me first say that by no means have I been a Disney hater and it pains me a bit to write this review. In fact, I have been a huge fan of the Mouse my whole life being an annual pass holder on both coasts, spending 6 of the last 10 Christmases at WDW and in general finding just about any excuse to spend my leisure time and dollars on Disney products. But the June 7 cruise from Barcelona was not ...
We booked on the Disney Magic for the 12 day Mediterranean cruise for main reason that we thought Disney were a trusted brand who cared about Brand Image & Customer Service, we could not have been more wrong.
Firstly let me say, that most parents consider a Disney Cruise great for kids entertainment, which to a point Disney cater for as you would expect, however get ready for some heavy credit ...
We've been on more than 35 cruises. We've been on one other Disney cruise and loved it. This time we took my stepdaughters, their spouses and 3 grandchildren. We had 3 staterooms. First, because it was spring break, the prices were even more than usual but we expected that and booked early. Had we waited, it would have been $5,000 more! When we were on our way to the room, we smelled the all ...
First off let me say I love Disney. We are premium passholders so we thought if we love the parks so much we should try a cruise so I called their 800 number asked some questions. Told the guy I talked to that I wanted the boat that had the tube that went around the whole boat. He guaranteed me that the Disney magic was the correct ship. I even called with question and asked over and over again ...
