My mom and I took my 4.5 year old nephew on a 5 night cruise to Bermuda. This was my third Disney cruise and my third time on the Magic sailing out of NYC. This was my second Halloween on the High Seas. My nephew loved meeting all of the characters; it was probably his favorite thing to do. Bermuda was a great port of call and we really enjoyed Horseshoe Bay beach. The Disney movies in the ...

We chose this cruise because: 1) It's Disney! and 2) the convenience of sailing from the NYC area. DCL does not disappoint when it comes to entertainment, friendliness, and making you feel welcome. The shows and Marvel characters were fantastic. There were four sea days on this trip and we did not run out of things to do. Castaway Cay was excellent, but time for a change to the lunch menu on the ...

Disney does an excellent job of entertainment. Disney shows were Broadway quality in both talent and production. Ship seemed a little too crowded for outdoor shows, and for family pool areas. Definitely liked the rotating dining (you dine in three different dining facilities during the week, with different chefs, but same servers). Will do again as a large family event. Will probably not ...

I love the Disney Magic! This was my second Disney cruise and both have been on the Magic out of NYC. I was sailing with my parents and we did not have any kids with us. Overall, nothing beats the service on a Disney cruise and the food is great, but I was a little underwhelmed. If I go on another Disney cruise I will probably choose one that does not have so many days at sea since there were ...

We were excited when Disney decided to return to NYC. We had previously sailed on the Magic in 2012 to Canada from NYC. This was a very different cruise with 4 sea days, 1 day at Castaway Cay and 1 day at Port Canaveral (really at Walt Disney World). The Magic was refurbished shortly after our cruise in 2012. The ship was well maintained and filled with Disney details. If you are a Disney ...

As the parent of two young ones we are inevitably Disney fans so we decided to try out the Disney cruise. It embarked from New York so being from Boston, this was much more convenient than flying to Florida. We've been to Disney twice and the thing that I love the most about the World is the Disney experience/hospitality. Everything is super clean and seems like "cast members" are there to wait ...

This is the first time our family has been together since our 8 night cruise on the Disney Magic from July 28 to August fifth this year. I have combined comments from the adults as well as the kids. Disney has always been a first class operation and we enjoyed this cruise very much. Following are some of the comments: I liked swimming in the pool and walking around and seeing the characters. I ...
