We Have cruised on all of the popular cruise lines and are Diamond Club members on Royal Caribbean. As a college student, I worked for three summers on Passenger Liners. We had concierge suite 8582 and it was the most beautiful suite we have ever seen or stayed in. It was impeccably clean and and kept that way all 5 days. There was never a disappointment with the turn-down service or anything else related to the stateroom.

Departing from Miami versus Galveston was a pleasure. Lots of new things to try and a great area to temp your taste buds with Cuban cuisine at its best.
We stayed in a deluxe ocean view cabin room. It gave plenty of dresser space but not much to walk around for a family of 4. Truly nothing more was expected. The room had a small tub which made it easy to attend to an infant.

We just returned from a 5 Day Cruise on the Disney Magic. We departed from Port of Miami. Ports visited were Cozumel and CastawayCay.

I had heard such wonderful things about Disney cruises so wanted to give them a try. As far as cruise ships go, it was a nice ship, but not any more special than other cruise ships. Last year we sailed the Disney Dream and loved it. This year we decided to try the Disney Magic. The Magic is a smaller and older ship. It is showing some signs of wear, but overall is well maintained and clean. For what it's worth, we were told it is going into dry dock soon for some maintenance and updates.

I expected my first Disney cruise to blow me away. The dinner service was so lacking that it colored my whole cruise. First cruise (with husband & 8 year old son). The size of the ship was perfect. Big enough to explore but small enough to quickly get to anywhere we needed to go. Very quick tendering in Grand Cayman and embarkation and disembarkation were very efficient. I don't think that we would enjoy a larger ship but smaller ships geared for families seem to be a rarity these days,

We were on 2 back to back cruses, 4night, and 5 night, ending Feb 3-17. We were on bioard quickly which was nice, mom needs a handicapped room, 6654 so that one was big and the balcony was incredible.

The cruise was a great experience overall. My husband and two daughters loved it. We went with the grandparents, uncles and cousins.
