Beyond what I was expecting. Completely blew me away. It was our first cruise and we will definitely be coming back this is our new tradition for sure. Staff was 1000% the best. Everyone went above and beyond to cater and comfort our family made the most pleasurable experience. Dinner staff was exquisite! Christiano was a gentleman at its finest! and Sarah was a luxury in itself! Rooms were ...
We choose this cruise because of the convenience of the port of San Diego for our 1st cruise on the Disney Cruise Line. Previously we have only cruised one other time on the NCL Pride of America in Hawaii, many years ago. This sailing we sailed without children. We drove over from the Phoenix area on Saturday, the day before the cruise, and started vacation with a visit with friends. We picked ...
We are Disney fans and have only cruised once before, 18 years ago, on the Disney Wonder on a three-night itinerary in the Bahamas. This was our return to cruising. The Port of San Diego is within driving distance for us so not having airfare costs was helpful. My husband and I are in our mid-fifties and we were traveling with our adult son who is in his mid-twenties. We booked a guaranteed ...
We hadn’t been on a Disney cruise since 2011, despite cruising at least once per year (Four this year alone!!!) since 2004. We most frequently use Carnival for cost and convenience on the west coast, but used Holland America for the first time this past summer to Alaska. We were very anxious to get back on the Wonder for our fourth Disney cruise, and left the adult kids behind for a parents only ...
The Disney Wonder is the last ship I sailed pre-pandemic in January 2020. Although the ship looked in decent shape then, DCL had the Wonder spend some time at a drydock during the pandemic and the room and common areas felt "refreshed" although nothing significant had changed. This near 25-year old ship, on the outside, looks better than some of the 5 years old ship from a major ...
Disney is top notch. Our port was San Diego, all of Disney should be the same process. We arrived at the scheduled port time with no problem. We had to take a Covid test on-site. Our party was allowed to go in together in a semi-private portable curtained area. The test was self-administered with someone telling us what we needed to do. We were allowed on board in about 30 minutes after the test. ...
THIS IS MY SECOND DISNEY CRUISE. The first one in the carribean to their private island. It was so good that we decide to go on another one. This time is was from San Diego to Cabo and Enesanada.
Checking on in San Diego was so smooth. No line up.
As soon as I arrived in cabin after lunch in buffet, I phoned the conciege and asked for a robe since I was sharing with my daughter and her ...
We were two adults traveling without children that stayed in an inside stateroom on deck 7 midship of the Disney Wonder. We had an amazing experience with superior service and I cannot wait for my next Disney cruise!
-The main dining food was superb- many options on the menu!
-Our servers in main dining were wonderful- best I’ve ever had on a cruise. They were personable, and very ...
This was the first time I have sailed with DCL. The Wonder looked beautiful coming off its 2017 refurbishment. 14 nights was a gamble for a cruise line I have never sailed before but Disney lived up to it's reputation for excellence. Of note, this particular cruise had only 300 children aboard. It was a running joke among the crew. It made for what was probably a much quieter cruise experience ...
I work in the travel industry and have heard nothing but great things about Disney, always mixed reviews with other cruise lines. I was dreading the boarding process, but to be honest it was super easy, I completed everything online so we zipped through the check in process and was aboard the ship in a few minutes.
They really stress hand washing and sanitizing throughout the cruise which is ...
