DCL Magic, Staff and Service Top Notch! Port Excursions were disappointing!

This was our third Disney Cruise. Had it not been for poor experiences on shore excursions I would have given it an excellent rating. This ship, the Disney port staff and ship staff were excellent. In our opinion Disney Cruise Lines is top notch and worth the price. Our dining room servers, Jimson and Gerry were GREAT!!!. The food was excellent. The stateroom was well maintained by our ...

First time cruiser and really impressed with the experience. Traveled as a family of four and the standard and attention to detail of the ship was excellent. Great on-board, and off ship shore, activities that suited all ages in our party. Staff were excellent and we felt they wen the extra mile to make our experience special. Plenty of food and activities all day and most of the night. ...

We surprised my niece on Christmas 2013 with a Disney cruise as part of her present from Santa. She was so excited to go, but obviously she had to wait a few months. The magic started before we even went onboard the Disney Magic - Whilst waiting to go onboard, we were greeted by Mickey Mouse who took a photo with our niece. Once we were onboard, she was provided with a wristband that would track ...

My wife and I finally decided to take a chance and book a cruise. After a bit of research and listening to family and friends who had been on a cruise before we decided to do a Mediterranean cruise. We have two daughters aged 7 and 2 so the logical choice was to go for a Disney cruise. After speaking with our local travel agents (who were absolutely fantastic) we decided to arrive in ...

This is a long review! Skip to the end for a good and bad summary. I was travelling with my partner on the 11 night cruise departing from Barcelona. We live just down the coast and wanted a cruise with no flying. 18 months ago we had taken a trip on Norwegian Jade and had not liked the ship. Both being Disney fans and knowing the reputation for service and attention to detail we jumped at the ...

Disney's Mediterranean Cruise: Preparation, Reservations, Hotels and Flights As an intro, let me cut to the chase and say that I loved this cruise. My somewhat skeptical French husband loved this cruise. My 4 year old was in preschool nirvana and even the 18 month old came home a Mickey convert who now makes "kissy" noises every time he sees a photo of Minnie Mouse. But, as those of you who know ...
