We went on this cruise with my then 5 year old and 3 year old sons. Although they aren't that into Disney specifically, we figured they'd enjoy the kids activities and we'd get some much needed adult time away.
The short version is this: The Kids Club and Kids Activities were a big disappointment, particularly if you have [stereotypical] boys.
KIDS CLUB

Wow, what a miss that was! ...
Having done my last 3 trips on Carnival and Previous to the on Royal Caribbean was very much looking forward to Disney cruise having heard so many positive things about service and experience. While we enjoyed our trip very little impressed us about Disney.
Water Park: Aquduck was very fun and lines were never to long even on a sold out ship
Pool not having salt water was nice as ...
Because my granddaughter is a Disney person and we made her 6th birthday special for her. It was except for that god awful dinner food. I am still I’m shock cause of that food. When people ask me how my cruise was I tell them it was awesome but the food in the main dining I wouldn’t feed to a dog. I’ve never seen so much wasted food as I seen on this cruise. As of right now I would never book ...
Hi, I actually was very disappointed on my cruise trip. The ship was nothing I had imagine, it was a small and old cruise. I guess it's my fault for not doing the research but this is not what I had in mind. The service was great though, it was the only thing great of my trip: my hostess and our waiters. I was also very disappointed that everything I wanted to schedule for the trip was already ...
Disney does a lot of things right, which is why they cost a significant amount more than other cruise lines. This one however, was a bust. It was partially our fault for thinking that just because a room cost $4K it would be nice (inside state room). We are used to having a balcony or at the least, a port hole. DO NOT EVER get an inside room. It was not just us. There was a constant creaking in ...
This was our fifth cruise overall and our first on Disney. We paid as much for a seven day Eastern last week on Magic as we did for a seven day Western on the six month old Freedom of the Seas in January of this year. We are late 30-something (very late now) and we have a daughter who was 4.5 on this cruise. We have also sailed on Celebrity's Infinity twice and Rhapsody of the Seas here is my ...
* Background Information We were married in early November at Walt Disney World. It was a complete dream come true. We had all ready booked a 4 night Baja cruise on Royal Caribbean's Monarch of the Seas for late November. My wife and I had wanted to take the Thanksgiving cruise, as it would have lined up perfectly after our wedding at Walt Disney World, but it was prohibitively expensive. We ...
Where was the magic?
This was our third cruise, having sailed on RCCL and Carnival over the past three years. Out of the three cruises, Disney was the worst. How could this be, you wonder, after reading all of the great reviews? Here's why:
Embarkation: Summary expect long lines and with two kids this can be a problem with them wanting to be held, stepping out of line, running around, etc. ...
Well, as our first cruise, I don't think we could of picked a worse one. The Disney Magic gave no "cruise ship feeling" like when youre relaxed and out at sea. Well of course, we were literally blown away by how much stuff they threw at us everyday. Well, here is the full explanation.
Day 1: Port Canaveral
We took a bus from our rental car place into the terminal and signed it. Since we were ...
