Our family has four kids 2, 4, 5 and 13 when we went on the cruise. We had 2 rooms right next to each other. We drove from Michigan overnight to Houston. Stayed there while were notified by the fog delay. The embarkation was as good as it could be. But I recommend going to the bathroom before you enter a line. There didn't appear to be one until you pass security.
The ship was beautiful every ...
We choose this cruise because while Disney can be really spendy, going in January makes it far more affordable (and a better value in my opinion). The refurb is gorgeous and we were very pleased with the service.
Food service was amazing. They took such great care of our MANY dietary needs and food allergies. I have images of the dining room menus and some food photos of some of these entrees ...
Keep your expectations high for Disney Cruise Lines, and they will meet and exceed them. Our two girls woke early and stayed busy from the first minute to the last. Each night we sent them to bed while there was still fun to be had. The staff exhibited nothing but warmth and smiles, and they left nothing for us to wish for. Clean, efficient, and well-organized--the ship never felt confining or ...
I love cruises and I have done 10 of them so far. This was my first Disney cruise and we all loved it. It is expensive, but it really gives you ample opportunities to meet the Disney characters that you don't get at any of the parks. At the end of the trip we felt that we knew them all and that we were friends LOL. We saw them every day all the time and had many opportunities for photos, hugs, ...
Me and my wife are huge huge Disney fans. I proposed in Disney, yes in front of the castle, and a Disney cruise seemed like the right idea.
A little background on us. I've never been on a cruise and she's been on 2 cruises with Carnival. This was our first Disney cruise.
We live in Houston, so we did the check-in online and drove about the hour there and got there a little before our check ...
This was our 4th Disney Cruise and we continue to love the Disney ships and cruise experience. We've done one 4-night trip on the Dream and this is our third 7-night trip on the Fantasy. My kids are now 21 and 18 and still, we cruise with Disney! Since we have cruised with Disney before, we were able to secure an early at port arrival time - 10:45 a.m. We drove to Port Canaveral the evening ...
Usually when we travel, my husband and I prefer to be travelers rather than tourists if you know what I mean (we like to stay in smaller locally operated B&Bs, explore towns in the evening away from daytrippers, do active activities such as hiking, biking, and historical sites). So we did not think cruising was for us, but our two kids, age 9 and 5 had been asking to go on a Disney cruise for a ...
The cruise was a great experience overall. My husband and two daughters loved it. We went with the grandparents, uncles and cousins.
The entertainment on board is the best. Don't miss any shows at the big theater. Our 5 year old loved the Oceanears Club, our almost 3 years old couldn't join the children areas unattended, just with us during the Open Houses... that was a little problem because ...
I researched all cruise lines & ships that focus on kids, because I was taking my 8 yr old grandson on his first cruise, for Christmas. Disney was the winner. And Disney Magic had activities I thought he'd enjoy, as well as island stops that I liked. My 2 adult children wanted to come so we were four. All four of us LOVED this cruise. The onboard shows were first rate. My grandson very much ...
This was our 2nd cruise and I will admit I was geared up for disappointment based on my previous cruise (Carnival). I could not have been more wrong about what to expect by sailing with Disney. From the moment we arrived at the airport to take the Disney transport to the port, everything was top notch. Transportation staff was very friendly and professional. After arriving at the port, the ...
