Fantastic service, terrific shows aboard the Disney Dream
"However, on the Dream, our servers IKadek and Iketut learned all 11 of our names just like that, had the drinks we wanted by night two without us having to ask, made sure the 7 year old got her food fast and made her feel extra special each night of the sailing. Now - although we would definitely cruise with Disney again - there is certainly room for improvement in some areas: Although staff in dining rooms (and in the buffet area) were great, the food was just ok...."Read More

Don't get stuck sleeping on the sleeper sofa

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Disney Dream

We had a concierge room on the 12th floor with easy access to the Concierge Lounge. This was an excellent planning choice. I don't think it was worth the extra $$$$ spent for that category because we didn't use all the services that come with that room category. I decided to book this category because of the lounge provided to us. I'm still unsure whether that lounge's price was worth it. I ...

Loved the ship – just less than the Magic

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Disney Dream

First of all, I'll admit that my review will be a bit incomplete as my wife and I got covid on the ship and had to get isolated for half of the cruise. With that said, I think five nights is plenty enough time to judge the ship. I've been on the Magic for four cruises, and it's been a bit of my "home ship", in a way, so I was eager to see what the Dream had to offer. Unfortunately, I think ...

We were a family group of 16: 8 kids, 8 adults, ages 4 to 75. For some of us, previous cruises include Disney, Royal Caribbean and Princess. Second cruise after COVID. In general, we were favourably impressed. Check-in felt organized. Nice spacious staterooms, everything worked. Sailing was not at capacity so it did not felt crowded. No trouble finding table at Cabanas, even for a big group like ...

Great Marvel Day at Sea

I chose this cruise because my daughter is a Marvel fanatic. It did not disappoint for her. We have cruised Disney before and their service, entertainment and accommodations are fantastic. However, the dining room was a nightmare. First night was animators pallet and we felt very cramped, as I was seated right next to a large pole. They had music playing and also a turtle taking on one of ...

Great Cruise Horrible Cabin

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Dream

First off the cruise went very well. Our cabin steward was great anything we asked for appeared quickly. Shiva kept the cabin immaculate and everything was in order. Great towel critters every evening. The biggest and worst complaint was the cabin itself. 1. extremely small cabin 2. Extremely small balcony 3. Obstructed balcony view 4. Room 5026 next door has a clear view of 5024, luckily my ...

Great Family Vacation

We specifically chose Disney as we were sailing with our grandkids, ages two and three and felt that it would be easiest and most fun on the Disney Dream. The cabins are designed for sharing with children unlike most other cruiseships. The deluxe veranda has plenty of well designed space and storage as well as a good separation between adult and children sleeping areas. We knew we wouldn’t be ...

We were a family of 11 that included grandparents, parents, two in early twenties, two teens and a 7 year old. Our family cruises alot. We have sailed with RCCL, Celebrity, Carnival, NCL, MSC, Costa, but this was our first Disney cruise. It was delightful. Embarkation was a breeze - with the most pleasant staff we have ever encountered during boarding process! Everyone was smiling and welcoming ...

Great Cruise but Limited Entertainment

We are Gold status cruisers with Disney and have been on all 4 ships. The pre-cruise vaccination and online registration requirements were simple. Upon port arrival, we were assisted with a pre-boarding Covid test. Then we were directed to wait in our vehicle in the parking garage until test results were available, which was about 45 minutes. We had to monitor our email for the results to be sent ...

Great time with the family!

I have cruised with Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian in the past and always had great cruising experiences. I was deterred by DCL’s hefty price tag, but I was convinced to give it a go when my family wanted to go as a joint birthday/Christmas celebration. Overall we all had a great time, and have already put down a deposit for our next cruise! Embarkation was easy, and the staff was ...
