Meh - don’t go unless you’re a die hard Disney fan

Disclaimer: we are not Disney die-hard fans. We were already in Miami and the dates worked for us. We are a family of 4: one adult, one 14 yo and two 10 yo. We originally had whatever is below the 1 bedroom suite and it was VERY small. We were luckily able to upgrade to a 1 BR/2 BA suite on the 11th floor (bedroom closes off, separate seating/dining area plus a gorgeous verandah) as soon as ...

Reasons why I loved this cruise: - amazing entertainment! - exceptional service! You cannot beat the Disney service- they always go out of their way to make your cruise magical. - beautiful ship - Castaway Cay is a stunning island...gorgeous adults only beach with a great BBQ lunch. - adults only areas on the ship are lovely and there was plenty of adult only entertainment! - ...

Worst cruise ever

My mother and father recently retired and both wanted to try a short cruise. I also have a 3 year old daughter who lives Minnie Mouse. I thought a Disney Cruise would be the perfect fit for all of us. I've been to Disney world in the past and thought it was wonderful and had heard amazing things about the cruise so I decided to book it for Christmas. Turns out this was the biggest mistake I've ...

It's a must for the kids at least once or if you are into the Disney thing.

It was a military family event, grands never been on a cruise. I wasn't gung ho on being on a Disney Cruise, I am well over that. For the kids though and for you Disney freaks , I must say it was worth what we paid. It's like the Magic Kingdom on steroids without the rides and on the water. Plenty of activities and characters all over the place. Kids entertainment area was awesome, something only ...

Great Cruise

Son wanted to cruise on Disney. I didn’t care. I personally would rather go back to Disney World. We had a good experience for the most part. Our servers were excellent & friendly. I’m not a fan of sharing a table, other people didn’t have to, my son had an issue with it. I wish we were told prior. We bought the $300 photobook with the thought they would take pictures of us. That’s the ...

I had this Disney Dream Cruise booked for almost 2 years out, and when it finally came we were very excited!! We did a 5 day cruise out of Port Canaveral and had a Deluxe Inside Stateroom (10A). Now, take to note, we have done 6 Carnival Cruises and we have done 1 Royal Caribbean Cruise and we had heard so much about how Disney is the Best so finally we had to give it a try. Plus, our daughter was ...

A Mixed Experience

We--grandparents, daughter, and 8 yr old granddaughter-- sought a three generation family vacation experience. If this 3 night Disney cruise had met our expectations, we planned to take another cruise or two with Disney before our granddaughter gets too old for it. First, the best aspects: the nightly shows were first-rate and fun for all of us; the main dining alternative decor, selection, ...

2nd Cruise, We will not go on another!

First off our room was so small we were always tripping over each other, the food was okay nothing special, dinner service took FOREVER! There is literally one drink station for the whole ship. The pools are to small for the amount of people on board. The hot tub was always full of teenagers the whole 3 days! We will not be going on another Disney cruise. Save your money!! The workers were very ...

Weekend getaway

I chose this cruise because of Castaway Cay. We had been there before and really enjoyed it. It was great this cruise, the weather was warm, the island is beautiful, a great place just to relax and enjoy the beach. For me, it is the highlight of the cruise. The ship is beautiful, the crew is wonderful. The pools are extremely small and crowded, having to be closed frequently for "accidents".The ...

I chose this cruise for a short getaway for myself and my two grandsons. Getting aboard was a breeze, it turned into a zoo from there and stayed that way until we left the ship. No where to sit in Cabanas or at the pool. Pools and hot tub much too overcrowded for me to leave my grandsons alone and go to the adult area. Pool frequently closed because of "accidents". I was really put off by all the ...
