Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah (04D) Cabin Reviews

Not bad. Bed was comfortable. Bunks are best suited for kids, not teens or adults. So our teens weren't comfortable. Balcony was nice, lifeboats weren't an issue.

Great location; central to the ship. We heard nothing; not our neighbors, no creaking of the ship, etc. Plenty of room for the 5 of us, and so much storage! Our suitcases fit under the bed, and there were plenty of hangers (about 20). We loved the two bathrooms (shower/sink in one and toilet/sink in the other). Our Stateroom host was fantastic; very helpful and a wealth of knowledge (Manesh). We also loved that the 6th floor was so central to everything. This meant we could just walk down 3 flights for dinner or up 5 flights for the pool. We rarely had to use the elevators, which could get REALLY crowded during peak dinner times. Being in the center of the ship also meant that we barely felt any movement. It was evident when we were towards the front of the ship for dinner that you could feel the movement more. Read Less

Great......but make sure everything is in place, or you will be charged....even if you never saw and don't have whatever is deemed missing!

Best cabin on a cruise that we've seen! Very happy with the space and Verandah. Also, great idea of splitting the restroom (toilet and shower) into two different units. With a family, this saved us a lot of time.

Had a great time : Cabin 6606

Advertised as having 'restricted view' because of a port hole sized opening. Nothing could be further from reality. There was a solid part; with no balcony next door, but other than that standard. Really nice cabin, with two 1/2 baths, one with sink and tub/shower, the other with sink and water closet. Really great idea! Don't think it made cabin smaller that we could see but hope others follow the design. BOTH persons can have a sink and spread out stuff without being in the others way. Bed was very comfy, only one outlet (not two as we'd been told) for our CPAP machines and they forbid you to bring on an extension cord or power strip. So I borrowed one ($50 dollar deposit!) and we got by. Still fighting (I returned it) for the deposit refund. Lots of storage; two chests of drawers, two nice closets. Interesting 'lighting' you can adjust for mood. Or just to be able to see. IF you know how; hold the button until it brightens (5-10 seconds). You need a room card in the box by the door for anything to work; bring one from a hotel and just leave it in. Mini Refrigerator which YOU can use; it is not pre-filled with stuff you don't want to buy. Hair dryer for my lady. So you can bring water bottles of your own. Terrific Cabin Care by our Stewart. Just great. Read Less
