We just returned from a 5 night cruise on the Disney Magic out of New York, calling on Bar Harbor Maine and St. John New Brunswick. Many of the features that attract us to Disney remain - the amazing dining room staff and cabin stewards, the entertainment (many levels above other lines) and the attention to detail. However, we were quite disappointed to experience several areas where service ...
I think this must be my second review even though we are world cruisers, for years, and have sailed many different cruise lines. We have a lot of experience with all aspects of a cruise. I have cruised Disney once before to the Bahamas. My perspective is of an adult, and safety for the children.
Arriving a day before the cruise at Quebec City, we found it quaint. (We had been there once ...
We were a party of 7 adults (from 20 to 76 years old) all on our first cruise. We departed from New-York and disembarked in Quebec City. Both embarkation and disembarkation went exceptionally well. We never felt like there was almost 2000 people getting on and off the ship.
The Disney Magic is a wonderful ship. We enjoyed that it it not too big or too small. We had plenty of public rooms to ...
This was our 22nd Disney Cruise. We have been on all the ships but the Magic is still the most magical. We were on the transatlantic cruise that left Dover on Sept 9 and arrived in NY on Sept 20. We had four days at sea to cross the Atlantic.
The staff, entertainment, food was all top notch. There was lots to do during the day when at sea. Cooking class, cocktail tasting, movies, workshops ...
Disney is number one of the cruise lines. Fantastic service and clean ships. I've been on all of they're ships now. Booked for next year going on the Fantasy. There is a ton of things to do for the entire family. I would highly recommend anyone to take a Disney Cruise, especially if you have kids. All of there ships are great. My 2 personal favorites are the Dream and the Fantasy. Just the size ...
This was my family's first Disney Cruise. (2 kids - 10 & 8 year old) We sailed from New York's Manhattan Cruise Terminal (parked our car there - no problem, easy and convenient. It was $200 for the 5 nights). Check in was easy. We were on board within one hour of our scheduled check-in time and immediately had lunch at Cabanas, then started exploring the ship until the sail away party started. ...
We were on the DVC member's cruise, so this was not your average trip. This older ship has been re-habbed & is in great shape, including updates to 1 dining room and to the outdoor children's pool area. We travel without children and use mostly adults only areas. This was a quick trip to Halifax with a day at sea coming & going. There is special entertainment and programming for the members-- ...
Disney World is known by creating magic and by providing customer service that is by far the best in the world, thinking of exceeding that, it is impossible but there is one place that tops it by 1000 times. On September 28th we (my hubby, 7 year old and me) came back from the most magical vacation ever, the Disney Magic Transatlantic cruise. The accommodations are fabulous, the ship is gorgeous, ...
OK, this was my 18th Cruise with Disney, I have tried others, but really prefer the family atmosphere on disney ships.
I had low expectations of the ports of call (Boston, Sydney - Canada - Dublin and Liverpool) but I love a long cruise and have done two previous transatlantic cruises with Disney, and looked forward to the entertainment and service.
This route took us north, but not north ...
To start, I have cruised DCL before and it was excellent. I have been to WDW yearly since I could afford it and I will continue to do so, I have never experienced any issues at WDW and the service and experience has always been faultless. It is with regret when I say the same cannot be afforded to DCL.
It is even more so, in the response to my complaints that I felt even more let down and ...
