This was our third Disney cruise - we have done two Caribbean cruises and were very excited to take our 11 and 9 year old daughters to Europe for the first time. This is a very port intensive trip (only two at sea days) and we loved every minute of it!
Rome - we used Rome in Limo - we had Giovanni as our guide and Kate as our private guide for the Vatican. I can't recommend them more! They ...
I have always wanted to go on a Disney cruise with my family before my kids get "too old for Disney" and combined with my wish for them to see Europe and without my having to pack and unpack every day, this was going to be my ideal vacation! We embarked and disembarked in Barcelona. Day 2 (formal night on Day 2) and Day 7 were sailing days. We stopped at Naples (Sorrento, Amalfi Coast, ...
We switched to this cruise when Disney changed the itinerary of the 12 night cruise to remove Greece and Turkey. This cruise allowed us more time to tour on our own and in our opinion adequately explored the same area as the new 12 night itinerary.
We had a marvelous time. It was our first ever cruise on any ship. WE found the appearance and upkeep of the ship to be wonderful, our room ...
This cruise was incredible from embarkation to disembarkation. Our extended family group of 14 (ranging in age from 4 to 74) enjoyed every moment of the week we spent on this ship. There was always something to do for everyone -- from exploring the port cities, to lounging by one of the pools with a cold drink. There were trivia challenges, multiple-per-day movies in the on-board theatre, ...
First time cruiser and really impressed with the experience. Traveled as a family of four and the standard and attention to detail of the ship was excellent. Great on-board, and off ship shore, activities that suited all ages in our party. Staff were excellent and we felt they wen the extra mile to make our experience special. Plenty of food and activities all day and most of the night. ...
This was our second Disney cruise (first was on the Wonder) and was an outstanding trip. Staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Went out of thier way to accomdate us, and did everything we asked for. We did this trip without children, and though there were many families aboard, we were never bothered by kids. Spent a lot of time in the adults only pool and coffee shop area, which were ...
This was our 12th Disney cruise and the first transatlantic crossing.
We had plenty of issues with our stateroom during the first 5 days on the ship.
For several days the toilet didn't flush for up to 3 hours because there were "issues in this section of the ship" - if Disney would at least had told us BEFORE using the toilet rather than just acknowledge there is a problem once we called it ...
We surprised my niece on Christmas 2013 with a Disney cruise as part of her present from Santa. She was so excited to go, but obviously she had to wait a few months.
The magic started before we even went onboard the Disney Magic - Whilst waiting to go onboard, we were greeted by Mickey Mouse who took a photo with our niece.
Once we were onboard, she was provided with a wristband that would track ...
Travelled with my two Grandchildren aged 7 and 10 who loved the ship, and were happy with just about everything on it!
I wasn't so easily impressed and I don't really know how I feel after the cruise
The positives -
- the Adults food was mostly great (did not enjoy a very tough rib eye in Cariocas - and was ignored when I commented), I enjoyed the few meals that we had in the Buffet in ...
11yr and 9 yr old girls and their parents. Love Disney, last 2 summers spend in Florida which we all loved but eldest gets travel sick and doesn't like flying so wanted to try a close option. I had been on a 2 week Caribbean cruise and a week med cruise previously and to be honest found the days at sea boring and got cabin fever a week in. My kids had never cruised.
Found 5 nts for us just right ...
