The Disney Wish is artistically beautiful, but functionally flawed. We left this vacation unhappy.
My wife and I have four daughters and we have done many Disney trips and several Disney cruises before, as well as some cruises on other cruise lines. Even though the Wish is really expensive and only does short cruises, which are both painful things, I bought into the marketing about how ...
This was our first Disney cruise without our children and we loved it to celebrate my 60th birthday. The Dream is a a beautiful ship! We've been on the Fantasy too, but for some reason we really enjoyed the Dream more. The entertainment was top notch and the food was amazing! Our last cruise was with RC and RC simply cannot compare to Disney in food or entertainment. We had a balcony stateroom, ...
Took my granddaughters on this very expensive cruise and it was not at all what we expected. The television in the room is very small, there is no water to drink inside cabin, the ship rocks and makes noises all night (regardless of cabin size). On the positive side the bed is comfortable and practical in that you can store the luggage under it. Pillows are decent. Cabin has nice size bathroom ...
We chose this cruise to have a family vacation during our grandson's Spring Break. So we have always gone to Disney since our children 39 and 37 were young but it has gotten so hectic at the parks we thought we would try a cruise. It is like being in the parks on a packed day! The dining room is so full of tables your servers have trouble bringing your food. If anyone has a disability they are ...
This was my second Disney cruise overall, and I have to say I loved it. For a ship that is 12 years old, you would never know it wasn’t brand new. Credit to Disney for keeping it in such great condition! Boarding was a little chaotic as we boarded in Miami and a few people decided to stay on the ship longer than they were supposed to, causing a delay for my sailing. After getting onboard you were ...
Disney magic at it's best. From the activities to the live shows to the food, it's wonderful. The staff is SO GOOD especially the servers who are with you at each night at the restaurant you are at. Disney music is always playing wherever you go as well. Fun destinations like Castaway Cay. I enjoyed getting to know the other people on the cruise in the different clubs. Playing basketball with ...
Being a fan of many things Disney, I was eager to sail on their newest ship, The Wish. I knew someone who had sailed on it last Fall and they spoke of the excellence of Arendale and the beauty of the artwork on the ship.
Well, that's about it. I have been on 5 other Disney Cruises and this was this was the sixth and most underwhelming of them all. The ship is poorly designed, there are only ...
1) Disney does a fantastic job with the kids and activities on a whole. But they have a LOT of room for improvement in the bookings and 3-5 age group. First the Oceaneer Lab/Club. There are many 3 yo who aren't comfortable leaving their parents (or parents who actually don't mind playing with their kids!) and to only have open house for 2 hrs a day during breakfast and dinner for that age group ...
Just got off the Disney wish from 2/13-2/17/2023. One bedroom suite Rm#12522. I am 67, wifey 64, son, 31, daughter 26 my mother, 88. It was certainly better than a four star experience, so gave it five stars. no Covid requirements now. Other than you state you’re healthy. I did not complete the check in process with photos but the people in the concierge area did it for us I guess if you’re more ...
Just debarked a 4-night cruise on the Wish and had a GREAT time. I was hesitant based on the feedback I’ve heard about the ship, but it’s still a beauty and service is up to exceptional Disney standards. For reference, this was my sixth Disney cruise (but first on the Wish) and sixteenth cruise overall. My husband and I traveled as two adults in our early 30s without children.
As always Disney ...
