Mom and 2-17 year old twin girls that love Disney. We have had a Disney cruise on our bucket list and since they are leaving home it was a great Christmas gift. We had no expectations, other than everyone telling us we would LOVE it. We've cruised on Royal, NCL, Carnival, Princess and Celebrity previously. Embarkation was a breeze. We arrived at port around 1 PM and were on the ship in ...

The cruise was very good because we were with family, the ship was impecably clean, also the service specially the room and the dining we had a wonderful service in the dinng service, we took a Christmas cruise so the ship was very pretty, the food was not as good as the first time we went on it specially the meat but the presentation and choices were ok, the service as I said was a 10, the ...

This was our eighth Disney cruise (and 27th cruise in total), and first on the Wish. Travelling as two adults and no kids We were so excited when the Wish reservations opened up, we booked right away for a trip in September - little lower price and a few less kids. I must admit some months after the initial booking when the final payment was due, I did have second thoughts on how expensive it ...

Cruised concierge Rm 13010 Sept 5th to the 9th on the Wish. My review are short and to the point. Arrival: All our paper work was complete prior to arrival and no one really bothered to look at it. Concierge check in was a breeze with limited wait, we were on board and eating lunch by 11:45am, room was ready by 12:45! State Room 13010: Room is very clean and a good size, split shower and ...

Great Cruise Horrible Cabin

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Dream

First off the cruise went very well. Our cabin steward was great anything we asked for appeared quickly. Shiva kept the cabin immaculate and everything was in order. Great towel critters every evening. The biggest and worst complaint was the cabin itself. 1. extremely small cabin 2. Extremely small balcony 3. Obstructed balcony view 4. Room 5026 next door has a clear view of 5024, luckily my ...

Great Family Vacation

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Dream

We specifically chose Disney as we were sailing with our grandkids, ages two and three and felt that it would be easiest and most fun on the Disney Dream. The cabins are designed for sharing with children unlike most other cruiseships. The deluxe veranda has plenty of well designed space and storage as well as a good separation between adult and children sleeping areas. We knew we wouldn’t be ...

Being on a relatively early sailing of a new ship comes with some benefits... and sometimes a few drawbacks. For the most part, I really enjoyed my experience on the Disney Wish - there is a lot to like... but overall execution and experience just wasn't there yet. As the crew gets used to a ship, this is the stuff that usually improves over time - but in the early days, everyone is figuring ...

We were a family of 11 that included grandparents, parents, two in early twenties, two teens and a 7 year old. Our family cruises alot. We have sailed with RCCL, Celebrity, Carnival, NCL, MSC, Costa, but this was our first Disney cruise. It was delightful. Embarkation was a breeze - with the most pleasant staff we have ever encountered during boarding process! Everyone was smiling and welcoming ...

The long anticipated Disney Wish. I still have mixed feelings about the Disney Wish having sailed on other Disney Ships over 10 times. Embarkation- Not much change here at Port Canaveral, slightly later start. Rooms-Beautiful decor-no complaints Ship Layout and Decor-beautiful and different. Some will love it, some will hate it. Buffett-About the same as the Dream in my opinion, ...

We are experienced cruisers but this was our first Disney cruise, so we used it as an opportunity to compare a few of the other cruise lines that we've been on vs. the DCL experience. The good news is we had a good time on the cruise with no major hiccups. Disney definitely gears it's cruise experience to families with young children. As an older couple travelling with our pre-teen, we felt a ...
