Some was good but not where it counted

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Disney Wonder

I was taking persons in wheelchairs on a vacation. The manual lifts that were provided for our two people one was broken and or didn't raise high enough to get our people over the beds. None of the beds moved so change our people was horrendous on our low backs and Arms. There was hardly any seating for wheel chairs in the buffet and other indoor restaurants. They only blended our food for our ...

Worst cruise food ever!!!

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Disney Wonder

We chose this cruise (first time for us on a Disney cruise) because of 2 granddaughters and grandson which by the way was bored after 2 days with nothing to do for a 23yr old. Lots of problems concerning maintenance on this ship considering it has only been 1 1/2 years since a total refurb.. Window tint torn and coming loose and then taped up and the tape falling down in the "atrium" windows in ...

Can this cruise be worse?

It is a very small and old ship and it is crowded everywhere: cabana, theatre, decks, hallways, gym shower area (only two showers). Not everyone staff, which should be polite, professional and efficient. There was a lady serviced in cabana, she is from Portugal, while she was talking with the guests at adjacent table of ours, her butt kept on bumping into my shoulder, so rude! In the end we have ...

Don't waste your money, unless you're rich and have kids that just love Disney.

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Disney Wonder

That being said, the adults that are bringing the kids are probably going to be disappointed. The focus of a cruise is itinerary, food and entertainment. Since we are a slightly mature couple couple, I will give the entertainment a pass as we did not attend or participate in a lot of the shows or events that were mostly geared towards kids. We did however attend a couple of shows by the ...

Disappointed

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Disney Fantasy

First time cruisers. Likely, last time cruisers. I really expected to love this. I had never heard anyone who didn't. They say no one does customer service like Disney. This is simply not true. No one extracts money like Disney. I will say up front that the staff is very good. Our servers, Christy and Chatcha were fantastic and the dinners were enjoyable. The oceaneer lab staff was ...

Our 4th Disney Cruise, and our LAST Disney Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Disney Fantasy

This was our 4th Disney Cruise, and up until this point we were loyal Disney customers. We never would have even considered a different cruise line. However, our 7 night stay on the Fantasy was a major disappointment. Service on the Fantasy was the worst I have experienced compared to any of our other trips. Our servers were working hard, but they had so many tables that they barely had time to ...

Not Magic At All!

Well where we can start. When we as a family (14 people, 4 cabins) book a cruise we rae looking for a GREAT SERVICE and ESPECTACULAR food. And so far we were lucky in our previous cruises. But with Disney Cruise I never see the magic. The food is just terrible!!!!! the buffet selection was very limited at all times, the quality of the food is not acceptable and I'm very disappointed not to ...

An Adult Review of the Disney Wonder

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Disney Wonder

A frank review from a veteran cruiser, to include 5 Disney cruises. First of all, as always, attentive service is a Disney hallmark. However, the crew is under such pressure to achieve "excellent" ratings that they begin to push you for it and we had numerous private spiels on how anything less than an excellent is tantamount to destroying the employee's career. Therefore, it is very difficult ...

We recently returned from a seven night Southern Caribbean cruise on the Disney Wonder. After our first experience on the Dream one year earlier, we were expecting to be "wowed" in typical Disney fashion. This was not the case...at all. We now understand that there are striking differences between the new Dream and the older Wonder. But our entire cruise on the Wonder was a different, and less ...

Amazingly bad

This cruise was quite expensive. Given that, I expected much more. We are not first time cruisers -- have been on NCL, Oceania and Princess -- probably cruised more than 10 times. Given the price of this cruise, I expected much more. Here are my issues: 1) Food was just plain awful Nothing tasted good -- it was barely okay. One day I had the hamburger and it was dry shoe leather. It was ...
