Cunard sent a rather casual email to passengers about a day before embarkation saying we should add 6 hours to our assigned boarding time due to a medical emergency. I just got off the Queen Mary 2 on a 7-Day New York to Canada and return cruise. I must say I had great expectations for this cruise. We've cruised about 25 times and this was I believe the 5th trip on the QM2 - one of the worst experiences we've had. The ship felt cheap. Meals in the dining room were well prepared, but were extremely small portions.
