The QM2 has just finished a 25 day refurbishing in Hamburg dry dock . The QM2 now has 30 suites added on the top deck. There are also 15 more cabins (I believe geared for solo cruisers. 6 on deck two where the passenger photo gallery used to be. And 9 where the back half of the casino had been. Practically everything about this transatlantic crossing on the QM2 remastered exceeded expectations
We were unexpectedly upgraded to Queens Grill from Princess a few days before, so it just got better and better!
Traffic approaching the port from Manhattan was a bit crazy!

We enjoyed our transatlantic cruise very much. We had a lovely, large Queen Suite and enjoyed the Queen level experience . We were able to eat when we wanted and enjoyed a private lounge with entertainment. I enjoyed the Canyon Ranch Spa and the beauty salon. We met wonderful people and the staff was great. Major disappointment. The weather was bad but not Cunard fault. Six days not being able to get out in deck was wearing but Cunard did what it could. Four formal nights was at least one to many. The service from staff was excellent befitting her reputation. Cabin size was as expected and amenities were OK.

UK couple celebrating 25th Wedding Anniversary.
Preceded by a flight to New York from Heathrow and 4 nights in Manhattan.
