We saw this deal last August for three nights in New York and return by QM2. We had never been to this city before and always thought that we would try one of the "Queen's" at sometime so the two came together nicely. Neither ... Read more

We chose this cruise as an alternative way to get from the States to England. I am glad we did. Our cabin (sheltered balcony) was quite nice and more than adequate for a winter crossing of the North Atlantic. A few minor details, such as ... Read more

t is not often that one can say that there is an experience that is of the highest quality but at an affordable price. However, the Cunard's Queen Mary 2 is such an example and exceeds expectations in all areas. We have just returned from ... Read more

The Queen Mary 2 has a virtual monopoly on trans-Atlantic service. Cunard is also probably the most traditional line today. This is why I chose the QM2. Cabin was more than I had expected - far better than what I had experienced on the ... Read more

We have never been on any of the Queens and felt that the time had come to have this unique experience.. a time warp.. a visit to an era long past. We are experienced cruisers, being frequent passengers on the Celebrity, Regent and ... Read more

Embarkation at Southampton was acceptable - much as other cruise companies. Our cabin, a sheltered balcony was, again, quite acceptable - and albeit winter, I in particular appreciated the balcony. But we were fortunate in having ... Read more

Very poor food and menu. Better in Britannia class! Head Waiter and Maitre "D" completely uninterested in passengers. This was evident throughout most of the ship although one or two staff were excellent. Suite had ... Read more

After a crazy 9 days in the USA, which we arrived at on the Carnival Vista, (my Review is “Loving The Vista Loca”) we were looking forward to joining Queen Mary 2 for a slightly more subdued crossing back to the UK. Firstly, ... Read more

This was a first for us- I would consider us well travelled but always by air. The glamorous image of this crossing was appealing. It was for a special occasion so we booked a Queens Grill suite, expecting a luxurious experience. The ... Read more

Review QM2 Nov 2016 I was so excited at the thought of sailing on the QM2, the ‘crème de la crème’ of ships, however I was disappointed. I am fairly new to cruising having only cruised twice on Celebrity in ... Read more

This Trans Atlantic crossing started off very badly for us. Air Canada unfortunately did not see fit to send our bags with us from Toronto, and so we arrived at the ship with the clothes on our back, and no toiletries. Just our meds and a ... Read more

This was a second cruise for me on the QM2, and it began with a delay boarding in Southampton, surprising after literally walking right on the ship after my arrival earlier in October in NYC to travel to the UK. It proved to be a ... Read more

First time on Cunard and it did not disappoint. Everything exceeded expectations. I especially loved the "rock"n"roll" of the ship during some rough sea days. Not everyone would agree. This was a jazz cruise and ... Read more

Taking the Queen Mary 2 transatlantic had long been on my wish list, but I resisted as long as Cunard charged an outrageously high surcharge. I signed on the minute I heard about the new single cabins. My cabin on Deck 2 was roomy ... Read more

Cunard makes everything easy, from embarkation to disembarkation. While not yet complete, the 2016 refit of the QM2 is nicely planned. They improved the layout of the vessel, while leaving the favorite locations unchanged. The food is very ... Read more

I suggest that the QM2 is too retro, with its restaurants, cigars, bars & deck chairs straight out of the 1950s. There isn't much to do on the typical 5-day crossing, except sit at the pools or walk the deck (3 times around is a mile). ... Read more
