We are huge QM2 fans despite having taken a 10 year hiatus from sailing with Cunard. *Cunard’s unable to improve its service. It is ‘top notch’ with exemplary care provided by the crew.
*Ship is well appointed with class throughout.

This was my third crossing on QM2 and my sixth crossing overall, all of them on Cunard. Sadly this trip began with a badly botched boarding process in the Brooklyn with everyone (nearly all unmasked) jammed into a long multi-hour boarding line which tested the physical endurance of all, especially the most vulnerable. Cunard blamed it on a Coast Guard inspection.

I've sailed on Cunard many times and QM2 is a favorite ship, as is the crossing. An offer that was too good to pass up arrived in my in-box (for a single cabin!!) and I booked this crossing one month before departure.

Here are my thoughts on our April 2022 Brooklyn to Southampton crossing on the QM2:
The Good
We enjoyed plenty of wine (via the beverage package) brought by plenty of friendly servers;
The King's Court Buffet's pizza, hot-dogs and hamburgers were tasty for lunch;

We were happy with a Cunard cruise on The Queen Elizabeth in 2019 so we booked this cruise on the Queen Mary 2.
The service was outstanding and the ship is very beautiful. I really like the formal atmosphere of the evening, especially on gala nights.
I agree with some other reviews that food in the buffet is better than food served in the formal dining room.

First cruise on the Queen Mary 2 since the pandemic. We have cruised 19 times on her and the last time in January 2020. We were anxious to go back and this itinerary was perfect, and experience the changes that Cunard has advertised.

Princess grill 13 Feb 2022 to Lisbon.
Our first time Cunard (after Seabourn , Azamara, Viking), and first time ex Southampton. Like others we were confused by the joining instructions. the "covid" tent is indeed hard to find in the docks area , and 2 miles/20 minutes from the QE terminal building. As grill guests you get "priority boarding" which was speedy and painless.
