Cunard enjoys a reputation as a luxury cruise provider and the Queen Victoria (QV) is elegantly furnished throughout. I would accept that constant use is going to have an impact on the fabric of the ship but in general it is well maintained.

We chose this cruise because it ended in Sydney where we spent a week with relatives. In 2017 we did a similar cruise on the same ship which started in Sydney and ended in Hong Kong. We arrived at about 2pm ready for our boarding time of 2.15. It was a very smooth embarkation and we were on board by 2.30.
To say the ship has just had a refit, I noticed some of the carpets needed to be replaced. Other than that everything seems to be up to the usual standard.
