First time with cruising Cunard , cruising during Christmas and cruising just my wife and I . The ship queen victoria is excellent with their food and beverage. Great food , superb customer service and ambiance. Entertainment was awesome and the ship is very well maintained. We definitely would cruise with Cunard and recommend it . Our cruise was during December 11th to December 23rd , 2023 . ...
Chose Cunard because we wanted a small ship, the dress code was what we were looking for, we knew we would be having a good time but it went above expectations! Cunard booked us a flight to Rome which was perfect, spend a couple of nights there, then boarded and from the very first minute all was flowing perfectly. Embarkation was perfect, I have mobility issues, they were so helpful, from our ...
We had sailed in the Queen Elizabeth and 2018. This was our first ever cruise and we wanted to repeat the experience.
We were not disappointed. The service on Queen Victoria was excellent. From embarkation to to disembarkation, all our needs were catered for.
We used the Britannia restaurant on several evenings. The service was excellent but found the choice a little limited. The food ...
The Queen Victoria is a ship not a floating high rise hotel. Great service and excellent staff. It does seem to cater for an older clientele, some of whom could hardly walk. never the less a very enjoyable cruise. The Royal Court Theatre dancers were very talented but the routines are a little cheesy and I had seen some of the routines on previous cruises.
Food excellent and staff excelled. The ...
Thought I would read throw some reviews as I've not been on here for a while and blimey, people are fairly getting stuck in to poor old Victoria.
Yes we were held up in dry dock but for goodness sake,we were all fed and watered, what people have to understand is....these things happen, yes,it was disappointing missing Lisbon but would these people rather the cruise was cancelled last minute? I for ...
Did the Xmas cruise after a break of 3 years due to covid. Glad that all the important features and standards have been maintained. Yes there were changes but were all beyond Cunard control. International legislation regarding the environment and Covid regulations meant that, just like life in the uk, things had to change. Life or cruising will never be the same again. The food, staff ,service and ...
Chose cunard because previous experience has shown us that it excels in all regards, food, service, entertainment , covid precaustions etc service and customer awareness. It did not dissappoint. Calibre of other passengers mirrors these attributes. A bit more expensive but you get what you pay for. Smaller size compared to many nowadays, 2000 paengers but makes for a more exclusive holiday.

We decided on Cunard as P&O have gone so far downhill,it’s not an option anymore.
We are lucky enough to have suites when we cruise and boy do Cunard treat you well.
The cabin at the back of the ship was clean and spacious.
We dined in the queens grill, where you have your own table and nobody else ever sits there,it’s yours for the duration. The waiter we had was second to none and the ...
Our 2018 Cunard cruise was a short, 3 day trip trying out the Britannia Club restaurant on Queen Victoria, so our last experience of the Britannia restaurant was in 2017 on Queen Mary 2. Having found that experience pretty disappointing (see my review on here), I was hopeful that the improvements suggested by our Club dining last year might have also worked their way into the main restaurant. I am ...
This was a back to back cruise coming off the Mediterranean & Adriatic cruise. We wanted to see what the Canary islands have to offer and it was a delight.
We enjoyed the experience of the beautiful greenery and 585 metre high expose sea cliffs in Madeira island, the collapsed gigantic volcanic Caldera Taburiente in La Palma island, the ride up to 3550M of the tall volcanic mountains Mt Teide ...
