"The cabin was of poor design tiniest bathrooms ever plus for a 20 day cruise limited shelving and when you opened the wardrobe doors you blocked out the lighting
The ship often vibrated badly not in all public spaces but in some esp formal dining room
Annoying they promoted Mykonos yet didnt warn that unlikely to visit due to winds and only one wharfside berth- knowing the very OLD age group on this long voyage they should of booked the shore berth or choose a better place instead we went to Herculean on Crete of all places ( a tourist dump- pretty enough for a coffee but ...) then we went to Thira( Santorini) ok great place but even with only 5 ships that day the wait to ride up was like 2 hours in the sun and to come down even worse NO warning was given of this well know issue of overcrowding they could have stressed the issue even suggested taken the local ferry to the near by port and bus There is no controll of the wait lines for the cable car and yes a lot of pushing and que jumpers my friend waited 2...."Read More

1-10 of 129 Cunard Queen Victoria Cruise Reviews for Gourmet Food to Europe - Eastern Mediterranean
Since my husband passed away, I have travelled on 6 Cunard cruises as a solo passenger. Since COVID the first thing that you notice is the lack of staff which makes things awkward for solos.
On the first evening there used to be a solo travellers get together where the Social Host/Hostess and Dance Hosts would make you feel welcome (with a glass of bubbly) and get you talking to other solo ...
yes we find cunard generally of good standard but there were poor issues on this 20 day trip. Main dining room food was often very disappointing and some of the servers were very indifferent ofcourse there was some excellent servers too.

This was our first Cunard Cruise, we had high hopes: ship looks stylish, cabin comfortable, embarkation smooth. Drinks are seriously overpriced and service charges do not reflect the level of service delivered. on arrival we had wine but only one glass, no teaspoons for coffee and not enough milk. Food options are very limited compared to P&O and food is rather bland, unimaginative and ...
We chose this ship because it was recommended by a friend.
The ship is a good size ship and we expected Cunard to be of a high standard.
Cabin - good size.good size balcony. excellent housekeeping.
Buffet - good selection at breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was hit and miss as to whether the hot food was hot, tepid or cold.
Bread - cheap supermarket bread which I would not consider ...
Cruise covered a wide span and interesting ports of call. Some were new and some were old. We just immersed ourselves in the beautiful localities whenever we can. Also, the weather was favourable at this time of the year. Hence, it was a popular cruise. See pictures attached of the ports visited, Cartagena, Corfu, Dubrovnik, Hvar, Venice, Cagliari, Gibraltar and La Coruna.
Lots of on varied on ...
My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 45th anniversary in style so we chose the Queen Victoria. We have been on the other two Queens and were very pleased. We live in south Florida and just didn't want to do the Caribbean again.
We booked our cruise in March of 2018 and were told by the agent who took the booking that if we took an interior guarantee we'd probably end up with a window or ...

We have been on the Queen Victoria before and it has always been a favourite of ours and it did not disappoint. We had a wonderful suite with a full sized Christmas tree as an added bonus. The Butler and his assistant were fantastic and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Our suite was always kept pristine and we never lacked for anything.
We travelled with our adult daughter so we ...
The voyage was to the Canaries from Southampton. At the start , we were a little apprehensive due to the Bay of Biscay but the ship handled it well despite the 4Mtr swells. We had superb food in the Britannia restaurant and Lido, probably the best to date. We were also glad to see that Cunard were maintaining the dress code, I did not see anyone who was not dressed to the correct standard. The ...
We just arrived back home after sailing for 10 nights around the Canary Islands and Madiera. We originally were booked in a Queens Grill Q5 Cabin, but we received an offer from Cunard of purchasing an upgrade to Q1, which we chose to take up. For us it was very exciting to be sailing on the QV but to be sailing in a Q1 (The Aquataine Suite) was beyond exciting. We arrived at check in and ...
