This is my second Queen Elizabeth review. Cabin - This time we were in cabin next door to where we stayed last year. Everything was well maintained, clean, and plenty of space and storage for our 34 night cruise. Service - impeccable everywhere. Food - Britannia MDR breakfast lunch and dinner always hot, beautifully presented and tasty. Freedom dining works for us. No queues. Every table ...

The worse vacation experience

Other than the amount of emails sent before the voyage which left me wondering what I should do before embarking, the trip just got worse as the days went by. The cabin was small, lack of wardrobe space and a poky shower room. The toiletries provided were of poor quality, forcing me to buy a decent hair shampoo as soon I could get to some shops. But the most visible shortcomings were the total ...

20 Day cruise from Barcelona to Singapore via Suez Canal The Queen Elizabeth is a decent cruise ship and we had a room (although tiny shower cubicle) and balcony, but like many US owned Cruise lines costs on board are significant eg - Average to poor wifi £18 per day, drinks package £65 each per day (need to have for whole cruise), wine from £35 per bottle, G & T around £12, beer around £7. ...

We chose this cruise because the offer from the travel company (Imagine Cruising) seemed great. In hindsight it wasn't all that terrific. First of all, the ship is beautiful. Very understated, but at the same time oppulent. Beautiful chandeliers, nice rooms to relax in. Our stateroom (1105) was great. We stayed in that cabin for 5 weeks (Barcelona to Sydney). Room steward Steven was ...

Disgusting and Totally Unacceptable

There are limited areas where you can find a sun lounger round the pool. We went to to Pavilion Pool starboard on Deck 9, several times, as that is where the sun was. The bad news is that Deck 10 starboard is smoking. Every day we would be made to feel sick and asthma triggered by the bank of smokers a few feet above puffing away. There was one particular 'gentlemen' who every day would take ...

We are experienced cruises using many different cruise lines but this was the first time that we had used Cunard. The main reason was that two ports of call were in India which we had yet to visit. Singapore was as usual a delight have lived there in the past and visited on quite a few occasions. The check in was excellent within 20 minutes we were through all the formalities and on board the ship ...

Voyage of the Damned

We had heard how wonderful Cunard were and how much better than all their rivals. We should have seen a red light when our first two encounters were being told to board a few hours later than planned due to novovirus being rampant on the boat and that the boat was no longer calling at Sharm el Sheik (on our itinerary). This was our 16th cruise in 5 years and we were both so looking forward to the ...

Love the ship, just not the cabin

We chose this cruise because of the ports visited. Good points. Embarkation was swift and we felt very welcomed by the staff. We loved the Royal Cunard Singers and dancers, and the Royal Court Theatre Orchestra are superb. Plenty of variety at the Lido, hot food one side and salad the other., the hard working cooks do a great job. We loved our easter eggs to celebrate Easter and the ...
