Chose the Queen Elizabeth on this occasion as we wanted to sail from the UK. We did not consider PO this time as there standards on previous cruises has slipped too far. We travelled down on cruise connections service from Wetherby.this was the only do downside as the there was insufficient leg space on the coach. On arriving at Southampton we completed embarkation very quickly and within 10 ...

Cruise: 14-day Mediterranean Highlights, 25 Aug-8 Sept 2017 Ports: Cadiz, Barcelona, Cannes, Civitavecchia, Naples, Cagliari, Gibraltar Cabin: 5113 Grade CA Our first voyage/cruise with Cunard since 2010 (QUEEN MARY 2 trans-atlantic) was a gratifying return to the line and overall, a very positive experience indeed. Most of our recent cruises have been with Oceania Cruises so pardon the ...

I booked this cruise for 4 people after having a taster cruise on the Victoria in 2015 which was beautiful however despite being advised that we would probably have an 'upgrade' we ended up feeling as though we had been down graded. The balcony was smaller and as we walked into the room past the bed my husband bumped his shoulder on the wall mounted tv due to lack of space. The room looked tired ...

First cruise, indeed first 2 week holiday for over 20 years. We had spent a Iot of time looking 18 months in advance and it was the port destinations that had decided our cruise. Very impressed with the Cunard organisation embarkation was very easy and quick, this followed through on board with lots of activities throughout the day. Ports and trips were excellent although Sardinia was replaced ...

Athens to Athens Cruise July 4, 2014 A very Happy 4th of July!!! My first cruise on a large ship was fabulous! We had a smooth check in and our bags were sent to our stateroom. The cabin was spacious for the three of us; two adults and a pre-teen. We had enjoyed the balcony and sat out only in the early morning with our coffee. I enjoyed the fitness center and met my family for breakfast in ...

We booked this as a joint 50th birthday for myself and my husband, we wanted something special where we didn't have to fly, could relax but also see some sights. From arriving at Southampton to being in our Stateroom (BA Balcony) was around 20 minutes, very impressed with embarkation. The stateroom was what we expected and the decor and cleanliness was too a very high standard. We found the food ...

This was my second time aboard Queen Elizabeth and Cunards never fails to impress with standards of service, cleanliness and on-board atmosphere; however, this time I was disappointed by the poor offerings of nightly shows/entertainment. Perhaps it had something to do with being in port. There is a heavy reliance on cocktail lounge pianists tinkling away, quartets and the occasional harpist ...

We have travelled with Cunard a number of times, and we're pleased to find our experience was as wonderful as ever, despite reading some reviews which seemed almost to be referring to a different ship. The itinerary was a little port intensive, but the ports were good, especially the smaller ones, Eg St. Raphael, Ajaccio, Cadiz. We avoided a hot and wearying day in Rome from Civitavecchia by ...

We have taken several cruises on Oceania, Celebrity, and on Cunard's Queen Victoria. This was our favorite in many ways. Though it's hard to top Oceania for food, we had excellent meals at all times on the Queen Elizabeth. Service was also outstanding, in the restaurants, from our cabin steward, and at the main desk. We never passed anyone who didn't greet us in eleven days. The itinerary could ...
