"Had done similar one before and enjoyed it. Loved everything about the ship -cleanliness,variety and quality of food, friendliness of staff. Weather was more unsettled than last time. Fortunately dry and sunny on sea..."Read More

This trip was an opportunity that came up and though it wasn't an 'ocean liner' I was very excited to experience a luxury cruise line. As a solo woman traveler who loves to dance, the knowledge of their dance hosts had me polishing up my dance shoes. Embarkation was short and painless. Though I had been scheduled for a 3:30 embarkation, I was nervous that would be too late to get settled prior ...

We were soon on the ship after arriving in Southampton. Our stateroom was a standardbalcony. It had new carpets, bed and settee all good after the recent refurbishment, the bed cover was a really nice blue and we were please to see a bottle of bubbly in an ice bucket ready for us. This room had a nice large television as well. The Captain at the lifeboat drill warned the ship was going into ...

For my first ever cruise I wanted it to be an unforgettable experience on what I thought of as a "classic" ship, ie one with a black hull, white decks & red funnels. Which is why I ended up booking my maiden voyage on a Cunard ship! From the outset we were very impressed: the Art Deco interior appealed to us greatly, as did the attentive service and friendly staff. Not knowing whether I'd ...

1st Cunard experience and sad to say we have B2B booked with them in Aug/Sept 2019, 1st time ever I'm only half hearted about an upcoming cruise !!!!!! I'm sure the locations will cover any Cunard shortcoming. Let me start by saying that while nothing was really wrong it's just that there was nothing that stood out or made the cruise an unforgettable 5 (or even 4) star experience. We cruise ...

This was our sixth cruise on Cunard, but the first time we tried the Princess Grill category. We had the promotion that offered pre-paid gratuities, $800 on board spending money, and free drinks (under $12). When you deduct the value of these benefits from the price of a P1 category cabin, it wasn't all that much more than a regular balcony cabin For some reason, this category on this cruise was ...

Queen elizabeth no 801 23rd dec 2017 - 7th jan 2018. I am a regular passenger with cunard but i had a real problem with my cabin on this cruise. I was in cabin 6182, an inside cabin. I was traveling as a single person so had to pay the supplement for that grade. I think this cabin is not even fit for one person, most certainly not two. There is no desk space the way the cabin is configured at ...

Let's see if I can make a sensible balanced up-date ? 1. Cruise Overall the cruise was very good. I loved sleeping on the sea days with my balcony door open. Looking at miles of empty sea and seeing the broken waves slide past was exciting. 2. Stateroom My stateroom was excellent. Small bottle of 'shampoo' with an ice filled ice bucket was a nice touch on arrival. The facilities in ...

This was our first time on Queen Elizabeth having cruised with Cunard five times in the past three years. Our inside cabin on Deck 4 (Aft) was fine, as was the service from Edgar, our Room Steward. The entertainment programme was nowhere near as good as that previously experienced, particularly the Theatre shows. The first nights show was particularly poor-no headline act, and the Royal Cunard ...

After travelling on the many cruise lines, celebrity x 13 cruises and P O for 12 cruises......Royal Caribbean x 5, Princess, NCL and MSC.....we now prefer Cunard, excellent around except the price of the drinks.... Really lovely team onboard and lovely passengers made the experience even more charming. The Internal Decor is the style to suite Cunard, and the Brand. The dining experience ...

We chose a Q6 suite 5196 at aft of ship to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. Beautiful suite and balcony with excellent service from butler and assistant butler but perhaps wouldnt suit everybody if you suffer as we endured a lot of movement across the BoB on our return. Food and choice of menu was excellent in Queens Grill with excellent service. Style and layout of QE is virtually the same ...
