1-10 of 70 Cunard Queen Elizabeth Cruise Reviews for Luxury Cruises to Europe - British Isles & Western
We booked this cruise 18 months ago as it was an excellent price and it was booked as our first ever cruise (we actually managed to fit in two before we went in the end)
The ship was beautiful. Lots of wood and Art Deco style, very classic as you would expect.
Our stateroom was nice but no nicer than what we had experienced with Princess or P&O earlier this year.
The food was nice but ...
Just wanted to experience a (mini)cruise to see what it would be like and if it would suit us (myself and my wife) for a future trip.
We found the Queen Elizabeth a great fun experience! The meals were excellent quality, not oversized, and appeared to be nutritious (ie not rubbish American style food - fruit and veggies were included). We travel (sometimes up to 3 months per year) and eat out a ...
My wife & I have done many cruises over the last 10 years,And this has to be the the lower end of all we have done,If this had been our 1st it would have been our last,1 With CMV, 1 with Tui/Marella/Thomson,2 with Cunard & about 16 with P&O,The check in at Southampton was amazingly quick,15 mins from pulling up to cabin is the fastest we have ever experienced,After that it was nothing special,We ...
Whilst this was a short cruise to Belgium I do wonder if Cunard are even bothered about missed opportunities with "new to the brand" cruisers. We are 'suite' cruisers 2-3 times a year and in our 40's, surely a demographic the company might be keen to impress for our future cruise dollars?
As Queens Grill guests we were allowed to the front of the line but very little else to impress or ...
Just returned from a 7 day 'bounce around the Bay of Biscay' to quote Captain Hasmi.
Captain Hashmi is a very amusing Captain. Helping to create a great atmosphere on board.
We have sailed several times before on the Queen Elizabeth and each time have felt totally relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed the Cruise.
A beautiful ship that is going in for a two week refit in November so should look ...
Out first cruise was with Cunard & were told that "we had started at the top". A couple of subsequent cruises with Celebrity confirmed we were told right.
This was our 5th with Cunard & (for us) it was perfect from start to finish. This company really knows how to look after you & make you feel special. EVERY crew member encountered was charming, cabin immaculate, Britannia restaurant food ...
We have been cruising for 24 years and have travelled with most of the popular cruise lines excluding P&O. We have been on the QM2 in 2004 and so had very high expectations. We had never sailed from Southampton before and we had hotel stays both before and after the cruise. Overall, the cruise was very good and the cruise critic.co.uk summary is very accurate. The ship is beautiful with many ...
This cruise was a short holiday a break from the stresses of work.. my boyfriend and myself decided to try club balcony room8045.. lovely room but really small shower for my boyfriend who’s 6ft..2..couldn’t stand under the shower ..no chocolates and strawberrrys on arrival even though they had been payed for before so that started the holiday off bad.. next don’t get me wrong I can’t tie all ...
Friends have travelled on Cunard ships and recommended them, also sailing from Southampton fitted in with our life.
Have cruised before on two P&O ships so know the routine. Firstly check in was so easy, eating lunch just after 1pm, everything was so smooth. Cabin was on deck 4 aft, lovely and spacious and quiet (even though many people told us midships is the best) have found no difference in ...
We chose this cruise for its itinerary and that it sailed from Southampton so no flying. Embarkation was seamless and our bags arrived promptly. The Cabin was fine (7090 balcony). On deck seven midship. The bathroom was small especially the shower with a cheap curtain. Bed was very comfortable and our cabin steward was great and saw to our every need. We had trouble with the air conditioning in ...
