We booked this cruise 18 months ago as it was an excellent price and it was booked as our first ever cruise (we actually managed to fit in two before we went in the end)
The ship was beautiful. Lots of wood and Art Deco style, very classic as you would expect.
Our stateroom was nice but no nicer than what we had experienced with Princess or P&O earlier this year.

Whilst this was a short cruise to Belgium I do wonder if Cunard are even bothered about missed opportunities with "new to the brand" cruisers. We are 'suite' cruisers 2-3 times a year and in our 40's, surely a demographic the company might be keen to impress for our future cruise dollars?

Just returned from a 7 day 'bounce around the Bay of Biscay' to quote Captain Hasmi.
Captain Hashmi is a very amusing Captain. Helping to create a great atmosphere on board.
