We chose this cruise because we lost a beloved pet in February and decided we needed to get away. Having sailed on the Queen Mary 2 many times before pre-COVID, always from Brooklyn, we were intrigued to try sailing from Fort Lauderdale. We thought we'd found the perfect vacation plan: sail on the Queen Mary 2 from Fort Lauderdale, spend a week in England and then sail on the Queen Elizabeth ...

Our most recent cruise was with Cunnard on the Queen Victoria for fifty days circling South America. We chose this cruise for it's exciting itinerary. We had not previously cruised with Cunnard but were looking forw ard to it's legendary excellence. The ship was beautifully appointed and well maintained. The staff and service at dinner, in the lounges, and shops was excellent. The cabin ...

We recently sailed South America 50 days roundtrip from/to Fort Lauderdale on Queen Victoria. Main reason for selecting this cruise was the destination ports of - Barbados, Rio, B Aires, Montevideo, Santiago, Lima, Montechristo, Equador home of Panama Hats and passage through the Panama Canal - Belize was also a pleasant surprise. The service we received from our cabin steward and restaurant ...

Let me start by saying that we are Platinum members and have enjoyed many Cunard cruises in past years. Of course, like the other cruise lines acquired by Carnival LLC luxury & quality service has taken a back seat to costs. In reading some other reviews with 6 stars and glowing reviews, I find myself thinking that they are either employees of Carnival LLC or people with really low expectations so ...

We've made six cruises on the Queen Vic and all in all they have been enjoyable and met our expectations for food, service, safety , and entertainment. However, our last two cruises on the Queen Victoria have been less than satisfactory, as much for the attitude of the ship's staff as the specifics of our displeasure. Seems there is a trend aboard the Victoria toward "hucksterism" in the ...

We choose this cruise mostly for the itinerary and especially for Panama Canal and Acapulco. Acapulco was cancelled 2 weeks before the cruise started and was replaced with Puerto Corinto, Nicaragua - big disappointment. Another big disappointment was the embarkation process that took us over 2hours, with queues till security, then till the counters and finally to the ship. There was no real ...

We are a British couple who have been living in Spain for 12 years. We cruise every January mainly RCCL; HAL Celebrity and last year Carnival. Embarkation was an absolute nightmare, worst ever. Don't know what happened but we arrived by taxi to find a line which seemed to go on for miles. We were stood in hot sun and although they did come round with water at one stage it was not very ...

Queen Mary 2 (QM2) - Eastern Caribbean

The Queen is overrated. There has been so much hype that I was expecting much more. And the several days of bad weather didn't help. I was traveling with a singles group so many things were taken care of by our escort. We got to the ship early and didn't have any problem with embarkation. Disembarkation was hectic. Fortunately, we had our own bus. Although the food in the Britannia dining room ...
