The checkin before boarding was efficient and fast.
Stateroom cat. BF with balcony at the 11th deck was very confortable and large enough altough the bathroom was so small but functional.

The ship has become tired looking, in particular on the outside. The first impression is rusty and a tad shabby. It can now longer be described as luxurious (there are too many truly luxurious ships out there now).

What a horrible location. I have sailed on QM2 many many times and usually ask for a balcony cabin in the Forward Section of the ship. I was on this cruise to celebrate my birthday. The ship was nicely decorated for the Holidays with even a small Christmas tree in our suite. Overall, it is difficult to imagine anyone who is executing the overall shipboard experience better than Cunard and their flagship Queen Mary 2. If you have a Disability like me with wearing an Air-Cast Boot and partly blind with a cane the staff won't help you and not even at the terminal in Brooklyn, NY.

On boarding the QM2 we were once again struck by it's elegance. We were anxious to return once again to sailing on her. Boarding was very easy once we finally got through the traffic back up at Red Hook.
