Cunard does not live up to its reputation.

Embarkation was a nightmare. Waited well over an hour in a hot terminal with minimal attention and supervision by Cunard who only cared about their status customers. The published itinerary was misleading; stated that we would be in Boston on July 4 & 5 but we had to be back on the ship by 11:45pm on July 4 and the ship left the dock at 12:15am on the 5th. We went to the Pursers Office to speak ...

We chose this cruise to celebrate our parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. Overall we were disappointed with the service. According to Cunard, on Thursday 23 June the QM2 flagship returned to Southampton, remastered. Over the course of her refit, the interior and exterior of the flagship was transformed. We looked forward to enjoying our vacation on an updated ship. We all agreed that the ...

This cruise was a big disappointment. I am a travel agent and have been on several cruise lines and this was my worst experience. I chose this cruise line because I liked the short itinerary and the high level of service they advertise. The service was poor from the time we entered the cruise terminal to check in until we disembarked. We were a group of 8 and 1 gentleman required ...

Last year I sailed 22 days on The Queen to UK, Hamburg, and Norway. I was excellent. Last week I was only able to take a short cruise and I found it to be lacking in it's treatment of the guests. Saki the head waiter in the Britannia room should not be working for Cunard. I had the second seating at 830 pm ordered a simple steak and plain baked potato and got it after 10pm. 3 nights we ate after ...

Booked this cruise because friends were going and they asked if we would join them. Unfortunately, the idea was doomed from the start because they booked a room with access to the Princess dining room whilst (I learned to use the word while on-board) we had a balcony room that only allowed dining in the Britannia mess hall. Yes, the class system is alive on Cunard. First, the good. Our room was ...

Booked this cruise because it was the right time of year. Having seen this cruise many times, I thought - OK. Remember - be careful what you wish-it may come true. First thing-never drive to New York cruise terminal. We took a local shuttle service which was fine except we arrived too early, and spent the better part of 2+ hours driving around the insanely crowded New York streets until we ...
