Not what we paid for

We thought we were going on a luxury cruise holiday. The ship needed an update. We were promised first setting of evening dinning for health reasons but we did not get this. When spoken to Maître-de & Purser this was denied and not available to us. Some of the service staff looked and acted as though they didn't wish to be there. Disembarkation in Sydney treatment by Customs very ...

Since we first started cruising, about 4 years ago, we always wanted to try Cunard and see what the real difference was at this level of cruising. This was our 15th cruise so we have a few ships to compare it to. First impressions were amazing. Gorgeous decor, lovely stateroom, beautiful rooms to relax in, we were very impressed. On sailing might, we went to the Verndah restaurant which was ...

Spent great vacation with my husband. We were really surprised with a very cleab comfortable cabin with a balcony. It was really nice to spend mornings with coffee breathing the fresh air. Lots of towels and toiletries in the bathroom. Nice food at Grill restourant for me but not for my husband. Comfortable table, polite staff. But i think they could have better menu. I can't ...

Wow, what an amazing lifetime experience for us. Even before we boarded the ship we were notified that we were to be upgraded to a balcony stateroom and this was the icing on the cake. From the time we embarked at Auckland everything was perfect and so professional. We were very quick to board and no waiting around, everything went so smoothly. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all ...

Best trip of my life

We sailed from Auckland to Adelaide on this beautiful, elegant ship and were wowed from beginning to end. We were upgraded to a balcony cabin 8103 and thought we were just so lucky. It was roomy, had a balcony which was a bit covered by a lifeboat, but at least we could open the door and sit outside in the sun and get fresh air. The beds were so comfortable, the bathroom considerably more than ...

We have cruised with several different lines. In fact this was our 7th cruise, but the first with Cunard. And I'm sorry but it will be our last. You cannot fault the food and the waiting service. The ship was clean and tidy. But there was just nothing to do! If you did not play whist, bridge, advanced bridge or cribbage - if you did not ballroom dance - if you did not want to attend lectures on ...
