We decided to do a short cruise on the recently refurbished Queen Victoria to see if the additions had improved things. They had. This was our first time on Cunard. We had been wanting to try them for a while and the dates, itinerary and cost for a balcony cabin seemed just right. We were a little apprehensive about it, given some recent negative reviews. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The Queen Victoria is 'Outdated Elegance' as another critic has stated... and that is what we love, the Elegance of a Past-dated time. The Queen Vic has it in spades!! The ship has a wonderful, homely feeling once you board.
