We have been very pleased with our suite. We were upgraded to a queens grill penthouse. ALTHOUGH WE PROBABLY HAD OVERPAID INITIALLY BECAUSE WE BOOKED WELL IN advance and prices were later reduced!
The catering has been excellent and the staff have been wonderful.

We wanted to see Japan but time and my wifes mobility was limited so a cruise was ideal.
We enjoyed the cruise. 9 nights and 10 days around southern Japan.
Pros:
Speakers were great, food was above average. Breakfast was great!

I love the QM2 - it really is unique amongst all the ships I've sailed on. What I particularly like is the fact that it never feels crowded, and the passengers tend to be a mix of nationalities.

We took a cruise from Singapore to Dubai, on part of the QM2 around the world trip. The cabin with sheltered balcony was great and we had an ice bucket with champagne waiting for us when we embarked. As part of a HoA package from DRW to SIN. Embarkation in DRW was a fiasco as 3hours after boarding we had to disembark to retrieve our passports from immigration, only to be immediately taken off us by a member of crew in the terminal. Have cruised Royal Caribbean HAL and Princess. This was our first Cunard experience. Ship was elegant but not glitzy. Service was excellent but very much “this is Cunard and this is how it’s done”. The above is what I was told by the Deputy Captain when I finally managed to corner a member of the deck department to ask why some new lashings hadn't had a whipping or a back-splice put onto the cut ends.
