The Right Cruise for a Particular Cruiser
"This was our fourth cruise within three years having previously sailed with Celebrity, Holland America, and Princess. We are a couple in our mid-thirties. We chose this cruise because it fitted in with times we..."Read More

Friends raved about Crystal and we loved the itinerary from Reykjavik to England. This cruise had no sea days and was packed with interesting ports. It was a perfect way to celebrate a 30 year wedding anniversary. We arrived late afternoon to meet Symphony in Reykjavik harbor. Our exploration of Iceland in a rental car convinced us that driving requires more time than expected, so we opted to ...

We chose Chrystal Symphony because of recommendations by friends who had been in Crystal cruises before. Negative experience with disembarkation: we were assigned to Orange 1, and left the ship at 7am. When we arrived at the Venice airport, we had to wait for about 15-20 min for our luggage to arrive. We were told there were misunderstandings regarding the transportation of our luggage (which ...

This was a very lovely cruise with wonderful attentive staff. The entertainment was not great. It was Broadway reviews almost every night. It would have been nice to have comic or magic night thrown in one of the nights. We made use of the gym which was very nice. There is a deck for running which is the best and the largest running/ walking deck for a cruise line I have seen. Food and cabin were ...

The food was amazing each dish was a beautiful creation. The staff was kind accommodating and always ready to say yes. The entertainment was mundane except for the piano bars which were great. Perfect cruise foe eating and drinking. If you have trouble walking beware. They do not accommodate , at least they didn't for me. I ended up missing activities because I couldn't get ...

Our first trip with Crystal cruises and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Yes cabins are not the largest compared with other similar ships but are reasonably spacious with plenty of wardrobe space (and hangers), pleasant bathroom and nice balcony. The service, amenities, food and ambience were first class. Also you do get a large ship feel even with 800+ passengers, compared to Silverseas and ...

This was my first Crystal Cruise and it was wonderful. This is going to be a lengthy review but I had such a hard time finding out any info on specifics for the Baltic Cruise that I want to give future cruises the info that I wished I had beforehand. I had done quite a bit of research before selecting which line to use for the Baltic Cruise and I am very happy that I picked Crystal. We really ...

As a newbie to Crystal I was excited to experience my first luxury cruise. I had been looking at Crystal, Regent and Seabourn. I ultimately decided on Crystal due to the sail date, wonderful itinerary and the very reasonable cruise fare. I booked in September for the May 21 voyage on the Symphony called European Discoveries. This would also be the annual President's Cruise so the expectation of ...
